OU at 3? They are 0-4 in CFP and took an absolute beating from Burrow in ‘19.

3 Natties, 3 different HC's. That along should have us higher than five

Bama 2 and Okie 3 over LSU, this list is a damn joke. I think LSU is in a good spot at 5. But Bama 2. Oklahoma may lose their damn coach during this season if Venables does not win. Ohio St is ok with me till someone knocks them off. UGA is okay at 4. Oklahoma ahead of LSU is ridiculous. LSU at 5 I agree with.

So you aren’t ok with OU at 3, ok we get it.
user avatar
I agree with this but LSU 3 National Championships and who not named Alabama can beat that? Also UGA is new to the party. The Last 10 years just override the first 15 years.
Alabama
Ohio State.
LSU
and you can figure it out from there.

I'd bet you money that Georgia has more wins since 2000 than LSU. Richt averaged 10 wins per year, and Kirby is averaging frigging 13!

Bama at 2 is ridiculous

1. Bama
2. Ohio St
3. LSU
4. UGA
5. Oklahoma

The only reason OSU is above LSU is more consistency, less dips

We have more nattys

Alabama sucked bad for the first 7 years post 2000.
user avatar
And then what happened?

Even if you include the mediocrity of 2000-2007, Alabama is still clearly the top program of the 21st century. Six natties. Nine SEC titles. Four Heisman winners. Nine final four appearances. A billion first round draft picks. The program that single handedly led to annual recruiting rules updates, a playoff, and a playoff expansion.

The writer got what he wanted, clicks. In a week no one will remember this list, but everyone will remember rings. The writer has to be from Tennessee or TA&M…moral victory U. Champs of the offseason

Because of their NCG win last year, Ohio St has every right to be higher than LSU. In reality nobody with a functional brain would put Ohio St over Bama though. Only a biased and delusional fool would. So IMO 1. Bama, 2. Ohio St, 3. LSU, 4. Oklahoma, 5. UGA.

The teams with the winningest records since the turn of the millennium:
1. Boise State
2. Ohio State
3. Oklahoma
4. LSU

Horrible list. Almost every team is in the wrong spot.

Oklahoma is definitely not above LSU. LSU beats them in Nati and crushed in CFP semi. OU is something like 0-4 or 0-5 in BCS Nati's and CFP semi games. Definitely should be behind LSU.

Wtf has Oklahoma done?

choked on a giant shaft.
early, often, and repeatedly.
absolutely SHOCKED that OU is anywhere near the top.

Nick Saban has six national titles at Alabama, and Ohio State is No. 1. Stupid list.
user avatar
Amount of national titles is not the only factor here. If we are ranking these programs from the year 2000 I can see an argument for bama not being 1. Keep in mind ppl seem to forget before 2007 (pre Nick Saban) bama was horrible they weren’t even a top 15 program. From 2000 to 2006 they had a bunch of .500 or below .500 seasons. Ohio state overall has been consistent I can maybe count on 1 hand the amount of less than 10 win seasons they have. And they proven they can put national and conference title trophies in their case with multiple coaches this century.

Happy with 5, but 3 national titles and played in another. OU doesn’t belong. I’d be more pissed if I were Clemson. Then and Bama should be 1 and 2.

OU made me spit out my drink. Clown world. Product of a horrendous conference. Bama is the clear number 1 and LSU 2 or 3 with 4 NC games and 3 titles.
user avatar
Alabama is #1. 2-5 could go in any particular order but Georgia doesn’t belong. It should be USC. Same number of national titles, more conference champions, and more heisman winners.
user avatar
Well then it wouldn't be any particular order. Because Oklahoma shouldn't be in there. Take out Oklahoma and put in USC then
user avatar
BanTikTok9er9 days
It should be #1 Bama, #2 OSU, T-#3 LSU, OU, USC, #6 Georgia

People forget OU won the NC in 2000, played in the NCG 4 times from 2000-2008 and multiple playoff appearances even if there were bad loses in some of those games.

Same with USC. Dominant from 2000-2010. Multiple NCs and idk 10-12 rose bowl wins.
user avatar
That's fine and good except there's no way Oklahoma should be tied with LSU. They can be below us
