We need to find the next Dan Lanning imo, go young

I think the most likely ones of that crop are Brian Hartline, but he's probably going to Penn St, and Glenn Schumann UGA D coord

and Kelvin Sheppard and Joe Brady of course
Dan Lanning

but that does not fit the Scott Woodward methodology

re: Is Freeman BK 2.0?

The issue with Freeman is that when Ohio State comes open, he'll jump. That's his alma mater and destination job. Also I could see him in the NFL.

How is Sloan so shitty a Coordinator and how did he get the job?

promoting Sloan is just one of the many staff decisions the BK has whiffed on big time, and it will be his ultimate downfall, just like Dinardo

1. Brian Polian as recruiting coordinator - dude knew NOTHING about recruiting Louisiana, LSU, the SEC, etc

2. Firing Moffit to bring in Jake Flint - the proof is in the pudding, we're soft as baby shite and TAMU is solid now

3. Promoting Sloan and Hankton when LSU could attract a top notch legit OC. Losing Denbrock hurt big time.

4. Not having a special teams coach his first few years - we were straight up garbage

5. Matt House debacle

etc etc

Can we just let the season play out?

My god some of yall are bleeding vagiiines

I'd say a 5

But if we have another DE injury, it moves to an 8

To me, more of the impact is on getting experience for next year. He's slated to be one of our main starters at DE next year
Gone with The Wind

The Wizard of Oz - seen bits and pieces but don't recall sitting thru the whole thing

a lot of rated R movies produced in the 80s-early 90s bc I wasn't old enough and never went back to watch, examples:

Die Hard
Aliens
Predator
Scarface
Nightmare on Elm Street
Robocop

re: Hilton Sr isn’t happy

I want Chris Hilton Jr to succeed bc he's a local guy, he's been loyal to LSU, and he clearly has some skills.

However - his body language on the field is suspect, and when he has gotten the opportunity this year, he's kinda duffed it (see: fumble at Clemson). He lined up wrong several times this year. He also doesn't get great separation for someone of his speed.

Barion Brown and Aaron Anderson are just better overall players right now, and I suspect Nic Anderson is too.

Also, the coaches have clearly seen that we have an elite defense and special teams, so the offense doesn't need to take 5 step drop deep shots as much as last year. So his targets will go down.

Hope he pulls it together.
Sharp cost us 2 first downs tonight by running sideways

BK just said sprained MCL

Well September in Baton Rouge is a lot like August in Baton Rouge, it's gonna be 100° and feel like you're covered in a wet wool blanket. So I wouldn't be out there at noon if you don't have a "spot". Get there around 3 or so, and just mingle. Start around Tiger Park and Alex Box. More of an older tailgating crowd, but you will be treated great. Just don't overdo it. The real party is inside, because there is NOTHING like a Saturday night in The Real Death Valley against a rival. Enjoy and welcome aboard. We are assholes on the Rant, but for the most part, the best people in the world in person. FOREVER LSU!!

Since you have a bus driving you, 3pm *might* be ok, but I would advise getting there earlier, like Noon or 1pm to get the full experience. Just hydrate a few days before and the morning of.

The pre-made tailgate sounds like a great option for your situation.

However, even with 16 people, if you are friendly, people will welcome you into their tailgate. People usually have shite tons of food and drink to share.

You can always chill in the basketball arena (Pete Maravich Assembly Center aka PMAC) before the game (air conditioned and there are concesssions, the band plays beforehand, etc)....its right next to Tiger Stadium. It usually opens at least 4 hours before kickoff and is a great option for the hot months. The Golden Band from Tigerland will march down Victory Hill, right in front of the PMAC about 1.5/2 hrs before kickoff. Its quite the spectacle to see.

Good luck!

Home team. These are fairly even matched teams on paper, especially the offenses. When it's too close to call most go with the home team.

Agreed - at a neutral site, I'd be extremely confident, just based on what happened to Clemson last year going 0-3 vs SEC.

1. Take what the have -
OT Indiana Jones
OT Star Wars

2. Remember how Hollywood made movies in the 80s and 90s

The world is not gay, trans, or woke; they are just trying to make it that way and losing money.

Take strong alpha male characters and add in pretty female actors as supporting characters. Remove social commentary that will not age and make movies about good defeating evil, it is just that simple.

If you are going to tap into video games as source material, remain true to the source material and do not try to "hollywood" it. I go back to the Tomb Raider reboot would make a kick arse movie trilogy, but the keep screwing it up. Take the games and put them to film as the games are, with the actress playing Lara true to her game figure. They got it right casting Jolie back in the day, but have not nailed the new one. A true to form GTA would be "R" rated, but make a crap ton of money.

If they are using books as source, do not waiver from source. Lord of the Rings is a perfect example. The Jackson Trilogy was near perfection, while Amazon strayed way to far and Jackson did screw up Hobbit, but I think the studios are to blame on that one. Dune is a decent example of them doing a pretty good job of doing their best to not stray as some books are very hard to adapt.

Simple version though -
Strong Men
Pretty Women
Violence/Comedy
Happy Ending.

That has worked since movies were invented.

this guy gets it

however, zero chance those arrogant bastards will do this

“Push for….” Is accurate. There happens to be a dude at the OSU that is a man amongst boys. Outside f injuries or Julian shiteing the bed….the race is for second place. And FTR I agree that Brown and this entire WR corps is stupid good.

Agreed that Jeremiah Smith winning it is the most likely scenario

He’s got the hype from last year so he could post a decent year and get it

He was a great addition, but without injuries, there’s not gonna be enough footballs to go around for any one guy to put up Biletnikoff numbers.

What if Nuss throws for 4500 yards and 40 TDs and 1300 and 10 of that is to Brown?

Biletnikoff.

It’s realistic
