LSU's Brian Kelly was on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning and was asked if they have considered making a change at quarterback with Garrett Nussmeier's recent struggles over the last two games.

Kelly made it clear they are sticking with Nussmeier but knows they need to get some things fixed.

All that said and 10-10 at halftime on the road. Can Nuss rise up these Tigers for a big win or will the Gators save Napier’s job. Either way, both of these teams suck.

Did anybody ask BK if he was considering a coaching change..Like for himself or the OC? The RZ play calling is more predictable than when Les was calling the pitch dive left....Play calling is Terrible!

His footwork is bad because he's scared..ala J Lee. He throws falling back a lot and doesn't step forward in th the pocket.
The defense is even worse. Nuss could have had his best game ever and Bama would have scored more

With who his father is and he hasn't figured out footwork, it's not going to happen.

Look at burrow and jaydens stats from year 1 to year 2. Playing qb is one of the hardest things on the planet. To me Nuss has shown enough good to keep me hopeful for his year 2, making the leap

Nuss is no Joe Burrow or Jayden Daniels.

Inability to run the ball with any effectiveness puts a lot of pressure on a QB to play perfect games in order to win.

Sloan is a running game terrorist. That being said I’m not sure if we can’t run because of how awful the interior line play is or if the scheme is just awful.

Early in the season the only running play we did was hand the ball off to Williams and he would run it up the centers arse, the stretch plays have been looking better and then for some reason after the first run of the game went for 30 yards we just didn’t do it any more

This is true, However, there have been plenty times where he had room to tuck and run but he chose to force a throw! I like Nuss but he has to run sometimes.

Can he at least take him out for a play or two when he throws an egregious pick to make a point?

After the nuss int in the end zone would have been a great time to at least give Collins a shot to see what he could do. At that point LSU was still in the game. Apparently Collins is seen as good enough to run one series, so nuss can at least air the tires on his bus back up because they were flatter than a pancake. Not even one series just to see if Collins could provide a spark? 10 million dollar coach geez!

A lot of negative comments regarding what Kelly said, but what exactly do you expect him to say? He not going to down talk his QB to the media! For Kelly that would be recruiting suicide. He said they did thier due diligence when deciding who would be the starting QB. That's just code for Hurley isn't ready. I'm sure BK has been harping fundamentals and footwork to Nuss all year. This might be news to us, but this is nothing new to Nuss. I don't have a problem with what he said. Praise in public, scold in private. One of the building blocks of a great leader.

I hate when coaches wait to start losing to start seeing the things that need to be worked on.

Yall have no clue what yall are talking about in reality. And it shows.

Every year LSU and Alabama had bye weeks before each other. Do you know what Miles and Saban both worked on during those weeks? The basic fundamentals of football. That was the biggest part of Saban’s whole “The Process” that they teach. There is never a time not to go back to the basics in reality.
