Elon redshirt freshman quarterback Landen Clark announced his commitment to LSU on Sunday night.

The 6-foot,186-pound passer from Radford, Va., visited LSU this weekend and chose the Tigers over Michigan, Kentucky, and JMU.

Clark threw for 2,321 yards this past season, with 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 625 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground and was named CAA Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year.

He will have three years of eligibility remaining at LSU.

I'm just here for the "didn't you see what Lane did with Trindon Chambliss" comments.

That’s become their standard line with everything lately

4 years ago we got a transfer QB with 10 passing TDs and 10 interceptions the previous year. Do not be too quick to judge.

Congrats young man. You played in a stadium with an official 11,250 seat capacity. Don't shite yourself when you walk into Tiger Stadium on that opening Saturday night. Welcome to Big Boy football Louisiana Style.

My concern with Kiffin is that he struck lightning in a bottle with Chambliss and I fear that he might get attached to that concept thinking its fool-proof and try to recreate it. A whole lot of non-D1 talent coming to LSU this next year. I trust him and am looking forward to next season, but its definitely on the back of my mind.

Chambliss listed as 6-0, 200, which means he’s smaller. Not saying Clark = Chambliss, but let’s not get caught up in this. He’s not Kyler Murray.

I am confident that this Elon trained QB will do a stellar job running the scout team

You’re right…I don’t….but it’s pretty freakin rare the kinda talent you toss the keys to LSU’s offense gets overlooked by EVERY D1 program.

Are you familiar with Trinidad Chambliss’s history before Kiffin gave him the keys to his offense after their season-opening starter got hurt? Hint: he was a Division II overlooked by EVERY D1 program. Not one single offer.
