Nice movement on those pitches.

Weird arm slot, but he produces gas with it.

BIG guy, throws downhill. Betting our staff makes some minor tweaks to his mechanics to make him even more consistent.

That delivery is something different. Double hitch to get to front leg down. Then back leg lifts straight up instead of normal drag. CJJ likes sending different looks out of the pen. We will see a lot of this guy.

It looks even faster than that. Great to see this.

OMG! Dude, like, he threw heat! Like, so awesome. Like, dawg, I can't write, like, the English language, cuz, like, I am totally a fraud as a "reporter."

Wow, look at his mechanics. He’s all arm. He’s going to need to incorporate a decent leg kick, change arm slot or he will have the same problems down the road.

Could the Tigers pitching be even better next season!?! As improbable as that sounds, that may be the case. Back-to-Back!! ????

His motion has a 'hitch' kinda like Evans. Can't wait for Fall ball to start.

Ball has some movement. He will get stronger as his leg gets completely healed too

I'm hoping he can take Shores' role next year.

We need that in back end of bull pen with shores gone.

I love the future rotation of Evans, Schmidt, and Cowan/Williams

To quote Harvey Keitel, “Let's not start sucking each other’s dicks quite yet.” We just lost our two best pitchers. Let's just be cautiously optimistic that Jay can put together a staff that will be as competitive as this past year's staff when called upon.
