Houston, Dallas, LA, NY/NJ, Seattle, Tampa and DC all have NFL teams. The only 1 of the 8 he got right was giving football back to St. Louis. Why not give this to big towns that don't already have NFL teams?! Like Orlando, Portland, San Antonio, etc etc.

Not sure about others off hand, but APL is going to start out in San Antonio. Perhaps that was a factor

Orlando and San Antonio have the AAF. Maybe that factored into it.

San Antonio and Orlando already have AAF teams. So it doesn’t make sense to put another team there. But I do agree that cities with no NFL or AAF team should have gotten a team instead.

In order to comply with the #MeToo movement there should be a player named She Hate Me.

Tampa doesn't support the Bucs, how will they support a minor league team?

Looking forward to McMahon strutting out to the middle of the field with a mic in his hand before that first kickoff. "Ladies and gentlemen! WELCOME TO THE XF....(shattered glass sound) as Austin tears out to the field on a 4 wheeler.

Sure why not, worst case scenario it will be an interesting documentary in 5 years on why it failed.

The XFL sucked the first time. It was promised to be a no-rules, no hold barred type of thing. Was just bad football with a ton of penalties. I want the human version of NFL Blitz. CTE be damned.

The attendance at LSU is terrible. You think people are going to support this crap.

what stadium in Baton Rouge would be used?

Please, NOT Baton Rouge! I live here and can tell you it wouldn't receive the support they need to make it. If it's going to make it then it needs to stay in very large population centers.

If you think games are fixed now...

Could become a minor league NFL. If they make it more about football and less about the other stuff...

Playing in a baseball stadium in dfw?

Seriously. They could have done much better. Given Dallas proper an actual football team

MaHitta - I agree, but no stadiums to fit. Would love it to have been the Cotton bowl, but way to big for a start up. Also, bad part of town. Arlington is good from a DFW market, but to much traffic out that way for week day games.

Ohhh and just heard they are going to repurpose The Ballpark, for this, not the new one being built. So thats nicethey arent going to knock The Ballpark down. Beautiful traditional old school resembling ballpark.

With McMahon at the helm, how long before it immediately reverts to a wrestling spectacle like the first go around? All of the crazy promotions and cheap, pre-scripted performances catering to the lowest common denominator? It will be the Jerry Springer League in a matter of minutes. McMahon can't help himself because this is all he knows and his ego won't let him do this thing the right way. Doomed from the start.

Inside information.... Baton Rouge is first in line on the expansion list! Pete Goldsby is going to be the venue and Richard Condom the stadium announcer. Team to be called the B.R. Nutria. The deal is near!
