What's your thought on a good drive down the fairway, but there is a sprinkler head "affecting your stance" do you move it or play it?
re: ISO an Edger. What Should I buy?
Posted by redbullwings on 6/13/24 at 11:13 am to Greencombine
My problem with my current setup is it already shuts down if I have it rotated too long doing the edging. it's more of a 1st world problem, I also like the the look of a fresh edge with a legit edger. I can at times get a little off line and go too far in and I don't get the straight line I want. I am going to have a lot more driveway and sidewalk edging at new house (corner lot). I think I'm going to go with Echo edger. Also going to check out the electric options mentioned.
ISO an Edger. What Should I buy?

I have an Echo weedeater. I Have owned it for about 10 years. Maybe a little longer than that & absolutely no issues with it. I have always used it as my edging tool. I am going to be moving and I have a lot more edging to do there so I want to get a dedicated edger. Do I get Echo? Stihl? Shindaiwa? Electric? TIA

re: Today I found out people bring speakers to listen to music out on the golf course
Posted by redbullwings on 5/13/24 at 11:40 am to Camp Randall
I love the quiet round alone. It gives me time to think and appreciate being out there. I also like the rounds when my buddies and I play music. I also do not like it loud though. Some of my favorite times on the course are when my daughters are riding with me and we listen to music and they are dancing in the fairways. Bring on the old men that will complain about that.

re: Anyone have a Cube Rangefinder?
Posted by redbullwings on 9/18/23 at 9:39 am to IH8ThreePutts
Whatever you do, don't get the Pinned Prism rangefinder. I ordered one to replace my bushnell without slope, and it's the worst golf product I've ever bought. Doesn't pick anything up most of the time. Not even front of green.

Where are you located? You should go try the used racks or demo clubs from Dicks/Golf Galaxy or your local shop.

I wouldn't recommend Quintero only for the fact that you will be Ubering. It's a hike but def worth it for the golf.

Bit the bullet and ordered one...

Correct. The smaller head suits my eye better. I have a couple guys I know that have them and they love them. Alternative to this BRNR i have my eye on Titleist TSR2+ fairway. The 300cc head on the BRNR attractive though. I would likely never hit this thing off of the deck.
Taylormade BRNR Mini Driver

Anyone put this in the bag yet? I desperately want to hit one as I think it would be great for my game. I take 3w off the tee regularly. Just curious as I know they were unavailable for a while. Any other majors going to create a mini driver?
