On Thursday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban was asked by who the best quarterback he’s ever seen at the collegiate level was, and his answer wasssssssss...

I'm surprised by this answer, are you?

Such a lame arse answer. Just another excuse as to why they didn’t win the championship.

Dude compliments your quarterback. You call it a lame answer. You're a fricking idiot.

So... When Saban says they beat themselves he was making excuses and when he compliments Trevor he is also making excuses? Either way his words are twisted to suit your lame-arse narrative.

Slipping the kid some rat poison. I like it.

Of course he's going to say the last QB to beat him is the best of all time

I love to hate on the guy but Cam Newton was a beast in college and led a 24 pt comeback against Bama

He was the best college football player I’ve ever seen.

Same with Vince Young. Kept waiting for the week when the wheels would come off and they never did.

Yeah, Cam was the best I've seen too.

I figured he'd say Deshaun Watson since he had trouble stopping him twice.

Saban is such a predictable douche.

Drew Brees but he passed on him. Had to head back to college to win.

Saban did not pass on Brees. The Dolphin medical staff passed on Brees. They are why Saban is at Alabama.

That’s his legacy amongst the big boys. A clown that couldn’t win in the big show

Jesus you gumps are pathetic. Saban passed on Brees. Grow up.

He's deflecting the crappy coaching job he and his staff did against Clemson. He looked like a beaten man early in the 3rd quarter.

I wonder what he considers “recent times” because Manziel tore Bama’s arse up TWICE (albeit that Bama won one of those games)

He was 1-1.

A&M's defense is what won that game. Fumbling the ball and having it bounce back into your hands and throwing the ball up to Mike Evans is not impressive.

I'm not surprised. He is a great quarterback, playing for a strong team in a weak division.
