He's more into the automotive business than coaching football these days.

This means he bought at the top of the market. Time to wait for prices to drop if anyone's in the market for a Mercedes!

You have no idea the valuation of those dealerships. Just because car prices are high right now doesn't mean he overspent on these acquisitions.

Car dealerships print money if you don’t step on your crank. They take their percent regardless of the market

I hope it loses every dollar he’s ever made.

Do you think he has a large percentage of his personal wealth tied up in this? LOL

Most of the money will be secured by the assets he's purchasing and various banks or PE groups.

What will it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

how has Saban lost his soul. He's a football coach, and a great one. The best players want to play for him, and he wins. And you rarely here ex-players blast Saban. Now sure, he's not the warm and fuzzy type of coach, but that doesn't mean he's sold his soul.

Investing in foreign automakers, particularly German, is risky business with the state of affairs in Europe and the risk of collapsing globalism related to potential WWIII I wish him the best but I'm not buying anything that might depend on imported parts anytime soon.

Bro EVERYTHING relies on imported parts you dumbass. Why do you think there were so many shortages when China was shut down during Covid?
