Saban wins by sheer will. Cignetti is a visionary. He'll be changing the sport.

Saban's an a-hole.

Enough of the saban coaching tree talk, and Golding doesnt count he landed in that role by default. Saban is just trying to deflect because he recommended Duh-bore be his successor.!

Why isn't Lane on this list?

Because he’s not coaching in the playoffs……

Goldish should n't be on that list, He hasn't done anything but take over Lane's team. Wait till next year when he has to ride and produce on his own

Well he’s the head coach of a playoff team that has won 2 games and playing for a shot at a natty. Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but that’s the criteria

Agree, but does Indiana have to cash to keep him?

He’s going to have to crank them out at his age.

Seems like he'd be a little to busy with the whole "end of the world" thing for either to care.

What coaching tree Saban has.

Anybody who has ever been in the same room as Saban is categorized as being from his coaching tree. It is pretty absurd at this point. People ignore that Cignetti coached at 6 other schools before bama. Lanning was a GA at bama for one year. Kiffin and Sarkesian are from Pete Carroll's coaching tree if anything, but they still get classified as Saban disciples. Saban is solidified as the best college coach ever; there is no need to keep inflating his legacy.

You are correct about Kiffin and Sarkesian, however you have to give Saban a lot of credit rehabbing both of their careers.
