Speaking to On3 Sports reporters Chris Low and Andy Staples, an unnamed “major donor” to the Alabama football program has said that while they may be spoiled by success, they are not at all pleased with what they’ve seen on the field...
quote:

“We’re spoiled, always have been. But when we put a team out there that looks uninspired like we have far too many times these past two years and lose to teams that we’re clearly more talented than, that’s when it becomes a problem… and not just a bunch of spoiled fans griping.”

They act like they just lost to ULM again. Last time I checked, Florida State recruits pretty good players as well.

I think it’s more or less the effort the team is giving is their problem.
That’s usually when the show is coming to an end.
To have it happen so soon is wild.

You also have to understand what they came from. We have fans like this and we only have 4 titles in our history. 3 in the modern era. I absolutley agree its overboard, and just insane, but I see why it's happening.

Keep DeBoer. Bama needs to suffer for about a decade.

That donor needs to cough up more NIL then. The days of the REC handling all of the under the table deals are over. It is a level playing field and Bama suddenly being just like everyone else is proof

Talent isn’t an issue. Bama has been in the top 5 in recruiting every year since nil and is considered the more talented team in the nation this year.

Another no reading fool. He didn't complain about lack of talent. He complained that they were uninspired.

I haven’t heard a single analyst on TV or the radio say that Alabama is the most talented team in the country this year. In fact, it’s well-known that they are not.

Living in Alabama, I can confirm that Alabama fans are livid at DeBoer and are still trying to figure out how he could take over a dynasty and run it into the ground in a little over a year.

I don’t like Alabama anymore than any other LSU fan, but I don’t believe you’re gonna see Alabama as a Medicare team. They may be average, but they will always have a competitive team under a decent coach.

OK, say they fire DeBoer, who do they get? It's always easy for fans and donors to fire a coach, but who's out there that Bama thinks is better that they can get??? They may want someone that doesn't mean they'll get him.

They would probably push all of their chips to the table and offer Lanning 13 or 14 mil per year...

Actually, that's precisely what you are.

Seems like the tide is turning. It’s difficult to compete when you are not the only team paying for players.

There are very few Nick Sabans out there, and he's gone. Better get used to losing to good teams.

These supposed boosters and power brokers( whoever the hell that is) should be more pissed at AD Byrne for not following proper protocols and interviewing coaches before allowing this massive contract because Saban liked the guy. It's Byrne and Saban's fault and the BOT went right along and allowed it.
