I’m not gonna go that far but I will say they must give Jay the NIL to supplement the talent, but Jay needs to focus on the state, getting players that won’t to be at LSU, because they love LSU, not because of the amount of money you’re gonna give them. For this season, bench that portal talent. Work on that young talent, if you’re going to lose or make mistakes, do it while you’re developing the talent.

Who is not. Real easy not one of those over paid portal players. The only time we should see any of them on the field or at that plate is mid week games, not one of them should start against SEC competition. This portal class is a bust. Play your freshman develop them. These players came to LSU, not for NIL but to play for the LSU program.

Why the heck would any LSU fan even think of replacing JJ is silly. Hypothetical does not count. LSU didn't loose to LR and actually won the CWS championship. Shame on any LSU fan wanting or wishing for that.

Someone on this staf had to evaluar these transfers. They have no heart. They came for the money. Go back to high school ranks, give players the money that love the university and dream of being at LSU.

How about this team being built up tonthe fan base and Johnson had his part in that too. This is LSU base ball built by the GOAT of baseball, creating the expectations of being in the hunt every year.

It appears the portal guys are making the most errors along with Arrombide and all of them are average at best. Seems like a bad evaluation of talent. I don't understand why Yorke stays at FB, and Arrombide could not consistently hit off a Tee. He must have something on Jay, to stay behind the plate. I think Serna is better.

I’m looking for 2 to 3 tickets for the LSU Florida series. My son has been to LSU games against the pigs in Arkansas, been to the college World Series 2-3 times, just never experienced a game at the box.
