Its been said that NIL investments plays a major factor in the decisions. I think Hankton was doing what he was told to do. It was too obvious.

2023 and 2024 ...you didnt see much rotation.

2023: Nabers, BT, and Lacy rarely came off the field.
2024: Lacy, Anderson, Daniels took most of the reps.

2025: They forced Brown and Anderson on the field because of NIL investments into those guys. The room was already crowded with experienced guys AA, Zavion, Hilton, and Parker. Hankton had no choice imo. Thats 6 guys with 4 playing in their last year. Im willing to bet Nic got the biggest NIL package because of the hype he received.

Out of those six guys, four came from the portal. LSU needs to get back to developing their HS recruits at WR. Stop plugging in portal guys and burying your HS guys on the depth chart. They will never develop and continue to hit the portal after 2 seasons of sitting on the bench.

If this was a playoff game, all of those guys would be playing.

This a glorified scrimmage. Most of these guys that are playing, will be in the portal next week.

Bro LSU is not about to blow 25 mil per year on rosters thinking it will take Kiffin 2 or 3 seasons to get this program in the playoffs.

Oklahoma went from a 6-6 team to 10-2 playoff team playing the same schedule. There arent any excuses.

Elko went 11-1 in year 2.

Indiana is the #1 team in the country with a Heisman QB. 2023 they were 3-9

Kiffin better hit the ground running... and he seems like he has the balls to do so.

This will be the highest paid coaching staff in CFB and will likely be the highest paid roster. Its playoffs or bust.

Kelly wasnt hungry enough. He came to LSU to collect his retirement pension.

Every single unit on offense struggled at some point during his time at LSU. Not just the Oline.

Hankton had the Co-OC title. He wasnt calling plays and probably wasnt involved in the gameplanning. Sloan got canned and Atkins took over as head OC.

He has already applied for the waiver.

Ole Miss is in the middle of a playoff run. Chambliss leaving is not their #1 concern at the moment.

Ole Miss is probably anticipating him leaving.

Any attempt to sabotage his decision will only hurt their reputation for future HS & Transfer Portal recruits. Im sure they know its not worth it for a kid thats has one year left.

They still have Simmons to fall back on and the portal looks like it will be heavy with QB options.
