During AL.com's Head 2 Head this week, former Alabama WR Mike McCoy was critical of the Crimson Tide's offense after their beat down of Louisiana Monroe 63-7 last weekend...

Also, our offense hasn't looked good, however, I'd prefer them to keep more complex plays under the hood until big opponents. That being said, Texas should've beaten us but... maybe Bama just isn't that great on offense this year?

He is absolutely right. Mcelwain was simple but sophisticated. Play action, not many routes but the concepts got guys open. Now it’s just shotgun, run slants and the stupid zone blocking.

It’s not just Bama but pretty much every team now runs a flavor of it… and it’s boring as hell to watch.

I use to watch a number of games on Saturday, but it’s just too boring to do that now. Just watch my Hogs now and that’s it.
