Good he could come out and talk about. Unfortunately over half of all Americans know someone who overdosed or know someones who knows someone who overdosed.

Actually, most recently, former UGA staff member. I get what you're wanting to do with the title tho. I don't blame you. Play to your fanbase.

Uhh he was much more relevant as the Alabama S&C coach. Also, no one is looking at him negatively because he overcame addiction and is now trying to help others. I actually have a much more positive view of him than I did before this

What's odd to me is that type A personalities have a hard time on opioids. They don't like feeling out of control.

The thing about opioids is that they don’t really make people feel out of control like other types of drugs or even alcohol to am extent. They moreso just eradicate stress and make tolerating situations way more manageable. Only once doses get super high and cause people to pass out or turn into zombies does it become apparent. Type A people essentially get the edginess removed while still being able to function at a high level for a while until they get too deep where stopping causes withdrawal. Then is the worsening of the pathology bc you can’t function without it leading to increased tolerance and physical need.
Terrible drugs when not used exclusively for short term pain control.

Yet he’s accomplished much more than you could ever dream of even with that holding him back. Imagine how much better he would be that your hom arse if he was sober

He was eating percocets like candy. Something like 50 a day. Glad he was able to pull through.

That shite is so easy to get hooked on. Especially if you snort it while pounding brewskies

Absolutely not. The acetaminophen would kill him far before he got to that point
