Alabama scored another impressive recruiting class for next year, but they chose an interesting way to announce it. On Wednesday, the Crimson Tide revealed their 2025 Signing Day roster through commissioned portraits by artist Tyler Upchurch... Upchurch has done work for publications such as Sports Illustrated and SLAM Magazine.

My father was an artist. He would say "why does the artist mind think this is a good idea?" That's what made things interesting to him.

Thanks, I speak for the entire group here when I say that we really wondered what your dad's take would have been on this issue.

That's a silly question. Art doesn't have to be a good idea. As a matter of fact, most modern art is a scam used by rich people to avoid paying taxes.
