Dude, wake up man. This isn't new. Its just out in the open and bigger. If you think all the pre-NIL players came to LSU because of some love LSU or whatever school they went to, I don't know what to say. Players have been playing school for 100 years.

We weren't doing anything! A stupid dude was embezzling money for personal use from the hospital foundation and decided to give some to the father of a player who WAS ALREADY ON OUR ROSTER AND WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO GET A BIG OFFER TO TRANSFER ANYWHERE! And he was convicted and spent years in prison. Didn't influence a player signing or any game. Just got his arse sent to prison. But let's check on your Vols- 18 Level 1 recruiting violations penalized in 2023 involving paying prospects and players by coaches. And you still didn't win didly!

And THIS is why Vandy is not Vandy anymore. Them being a private endowement school enabled them to be a great baseball program. NIL has made them competetive in football.
