I'm not sure the win frequently enough vs us to be 3rd. Georgia has probably earned that.

Well considering Sankey took our yearly game with Alabama it's officially over. Rival or not it was some good games over the last 20 years. Even the ones we lost, which was most of them. It sucks that we will no longer play each other every year and now it will be every four years for a home game. Rot in hell Sankey.

Each team only gets two permanent rivals. Blame Sankey for a lot of things, but was he supposed to kill the Auburn and Tennessee games?

Yeah just expansion has killed some good games, at this point I’d love to just add fsu gt Clemson and unc. Go to 5 team divisions.
Clemson, fsu, Miami, unc, sc
Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tenn, vandy
Alabama, auburn, miss, miss st, lsu
Arky, mizzou, ou, Tex, Tex am
Have to figure uga/barn, bama, tenner, Florida/fsu but it’d lock in at least 5 rivals for everyone with good history backing most of them.

As an LSU fan, I realize Auburn and Tennessee are bigger rivals for Bama.
I think LSU has been the tougher consistent game the last 25 years. The Miles Saban battles were some real wars.

It's three permanent rivals LSU has Ole Miss, Arkansas and A&M. They have been forcing that A&M crap on us and it's just not working.

Ole Miss is about as close as a rival I guess. We really don't have a rival. I do know one thing though, you Gumps on here start a lot of threads about us.

Because Saban told them to frick OFF and then landed at Alabama and went on the greatest dynastic run in college football history

It's not that big of a deal to me.
It's going to be weird, don't get me wrong. I'm gonna be thinking all year long that we'll be playing LSU in November.
But the schedule is rotating, so I'm guessing we'll get some other good team rotating in. Seems like Ole Miss and Texas are due.
