The committee needs to be fully vetted because these were the worst rankings in the history of rankings.

And if they have the audacity to drop these rankings at least have the education to back them up.

Their concern with Ohio State was giving up explosive plays when Ohio State is ranked number 1 at literally not giving up those plays.

I just wish they had the balls to come out and say we are not sure OSU can win a game with their new QB yet, and every Ohio State fan would have been fine with the ranking. Just the lying through their corrupt teeth is so infuriating.

Ohio state and Indiana would have at least 4 losses in the SEC. You are not going to receive any sympathy on here. I only mention Indiana because it’s the buckeyes only top 5 win and they would get boat raced by the top 6 teams in the SEC.

Hunter has lied and gaslit the Arkansas fan base for the past 10 years.

Glad the rest of you are getting to experience some of it from him.

And you would.

You cant compare what happens at the end of the season when SEC teams have beat the hell out of each other while BIG teams are resting playing Purdue, Ruttgers, Maryland, etc.

The difference is every team in this conference gives a team like OSU their best shot and they will have 80k+ fans screaming at away games.

Not the case in the BIG you get weeks off

The committee has always been a retarded idea

Use the BCS poll or start handing out set autobids so that each school knows exactly what they have to do to make the playoff

I found Alabama at #5 suspect. Other than that, which did you findd that was so bad?

I would compare what they did to Ohio State with what happened to FSU a few years ago, when their QB was injured.

No, they wouldn't. Just like FSU fans were not ok with it. And on a level I understand why FSU nor OSU would be ok with it.

If they came out with "The OSU QB is injured" it would not change the rankings, just the reasoning. If y'all would be ok with it if they said it was the QB situation, then why aren't you ok with the rankings as they are?

Sorry you don’t like facts. The BIG bottom dwellers don’t invest in football nor do they support their teams. You play a Rutgers at 11am and 15k fans show up and you’re done by halftime.

Doesn’t exist in the sec there is nfl talent you have to play and the fanbase show up.

Are you denying that?

I still dont understand why the selection process isnt a computer program or AI. They need to take the human component out of it and automate this. Build a system that has all inputs ranked by weight and let it roll

There shouldnt be sitting ADs and former coaches selecting the teams. The conflict is too much to make unbiased decisions. Even if they are truly unbiased the perception is still there and committee members may make irrational decisions just to prevent the allegation of bias.
