A week ago I said stop talking about a 3 loss team getting in from SEC and suggested the question is could 4 loss SEC runner get in the playoff.

Not sounding so crazy now. I think we see at least 2 SEC teams with 3 losses in.

What a crazy world this has become. ??

I still don’t think an 8-4 sec team makes it. I don’t doubt multiple 9-3 sec teams will make it but the committee will default to 9-3 big ten, 2 loss acc/big 12 and one loss g5 before they go with a four loss sec team.

A 4 loss team will not. There may be 2-3 three loss teams making the playoffs this year. (Not necessarily SEC teams) When thye expand the playoffs to 24 teams we will see 4 loss teams make it regularly and possibly a 5 loss team. Riveting football.

I think bama can afford 4-5 with the favorable treatment they get.
