I love the rant claims Alabama has always gotten all of the calls, and then backs up their claims with one play from 17 years ago.
Alabama has never been the recipient of a non-targeting call and a subsequent non-PI call with the game on a line in a top ten match up.

Alabama has gotten some calls, and has been absolutely screwed by just as many. Do you think UGA isn’t getting calls? Do you remember the AU game last year? Or Mizzou in 2021? Quit trying to justify your win. It’s already in the books. You should feel cheated out of a great ending to a classic game just as much as Alabama fans. You might’ve gotten a fumble or pick on the next play. Hell, Gunner might’ve had a real Heisman type moment driving the length of the field for a win. Then you wouldn’t feel the need to keep trying to convince everyone how legit it was.

Maybe I’m in the minority, I know that even bad no calls are gonna be part of any game and you just feel it more in close games when you lose, whatever. It’s UGA fans playing holier than thou as if it wasn’t a no call that is a little bit silly, just admit it like your own players have already, and let’s move on.
The whole ref blaming part of fandoms gets kinda toxic and redirects anger sometimes, too. You do want your team to a point where they can win in spite of that, but it’s always going to be on the table. UGA could have EASILY lost this game from a ref making a bad call, that’s how close the game was at the end.
There was bad officiating for both teams throughout the game, and honorable mention to the clock fiasco before the half, that was egregious. I would’ve been mad about that more if that had cost us points before the half, I’ll admit.
