And this offense still cant get it done vs a team with a pulse. They had plenty of chances to get and extend the lead.

Really unfortunate. This team had better athletes than MSU. No reason to lose this game other than silly play calls.

Its just not good football. The defense gave them the ball back multiple times and they did shite with it when it mattered.

It was bad.
Up 7. 4th qtr. Defense does it's job and we turtled..
We gave up multiple big plays.
I was not impressed by state. Take away the go routes and they are an average squad

And the refs were some of the worst I've ever seen.
The TV didn't do it justice. Spotting balls incorrectly over and over. Random timeouts for nothing.

Get rid of Drink and become Arkansas or keep the status quo and every 4-5 years sniff the CFP (never making it of course). You’re not going to get a legitimate coach come to Missouri., you’re just not.

The final drive was an embarrassment and indictment of the program. Despite some of his glaring shortcomings, there's no way in hell Brady Cook is running and throwing dump offs over the middle with less than a minute to go and no timeouts. I don't know whose failure it is - Simmons, Chip or Eli or all of the above - but it's unacceptable.
I think Drink knew his time here was up a year ago which is why he flirted so long with Penn State. If the season craters they have to pull the plug quickly and be done with it.
Navy or anyone... Do you trust the people in charge to be bold and execute a proper job search? Also are Bob Blitz and Jon Sunvold still involved in these matters? I hope so.

I’m tired boss. Eli can field an elite defense but he just won’t fully fricking give up offensive design or fully let outside ideas gestate. It’s still the same stupid arse offense as Y1. Just with more talent.

This was the only series I saw. How is Simmons in year three or whatever of his college career and has zero awareness in a 2 minute drill situation?
