Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is officially suing a woman from College Station for allegedly spreading false stories about him...
quote:

Just a few days ago, Manziel filed a lawsuit against a woman named MaKenzie Carter. His legal team has accused her of spreading “baseless, unrelated, and entirely fabricated” stories about the former quarterback. Apparently, she has messaged “false claims” to his friends, family members and business partners.

Manziel’s lawyer, Aron Hutchins, said this was the only option left for the former Heisman Trophy winner.

“We’re saddened that we had to go down this route,” Hutchins told KBTX. “It was just the only option we had left and it was unavoidable to protect Johnny and his friends and family and business associates and all that from continued messages all the time.”
According to KBTX, the emails that Manziel’s inner circle received included claims about a “fictitious romantic relationship” between him and Carter...
quote:

“The suit goes on to say Carter emailed dozens of people connected to Manziel, threatening them with legal action if they “continued” to interfere with what she described as her relationship with him,” the report from KBTX states.

“We also just wanted to stress that the non-monetary relief is the primary concern,” his lawyer added. “The behavior is unacceptable, and so that’s the focus here, just getting the conduct to stop and having her leave everybody alone.”
