South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp didn't hold back when asked about an ESPN story that portrays the Maryland football program under his former assistant DJ Durkin poorly, per Yardbarker...
quote:

Durkin, who served as an assistant on Muschamp’s Florida Gators staff, painted a picture of a culture under Durkin that focused on fear, intimidation, and embarrassing and belittling players. The story relied on anonymous former players and others close to the program, which Muschamp took particular issue with when asked about the story.
. Muschamp very sternly defended him...

Does he know Zach Smith, too? But, I do agree with what he said about gutless reporters & unnamed sources. The ability to ruin a man's life has become too common & easy with the "fake" news crowd. Everyone is now guilty til proven innocent, SMH.

Totally agree. Soccer moms in this country have ruined football. I hate to sound like the old man but we were cussed non stop, yelled at non stop, had one coach that would physically kick u in the backside, wrap their whistles on your helmet to make ears ring, denied water constantly and NO ONE ever thought about reporting anyone. 4 hour practices were common (with no water). Today, you'd be locked up. I also think it's why football looks like touch football. Used to have to have balls to play. Now, not so much. This whole idiotic scandal is an example of our America today.

Pull your head out of your arse. A kid died because of the stupidity of coaches. You're a damn moron.

Probably would’ve been best for Muschamp to stay away from this story.

I’m not surprised he feels this way. Have you seen his outbursts on the sidelines?

Other than that one kid dying, he has a great point.

"There’s no credibility in anonymous sources. I think that's gutless." Agreed. Our mainstream media just can't seem to get this.

I agree with Boom 100%. The pussification of America movement is now targeting football coaches for being “too mean” to there players.

One player died, others passed out the coaches and the med staff verbally abused them and another coach threw weights at players. There's coaching and then there's psychotic. Not surprised WMs crazy arse sides with the coaches.
