ESPN's David Pollack Says There’s 1 Obvious Choice For South Carolina
© Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports
With Will Muschamp out at South Carolina, ESPN's David Pollack thinks there’s one obvious choice to replace him...
quote:

“Hugh Freeze — first, second, third,” Pollack said, about who should be considered for the South Carolina football job. “What has South Carolina needed every year, year after year after year? It’s offense, man. It’s always just you want to see more on that side of the football. I think the fans are dying for that. And by the way, Hugh knows how to do that and whether it’s at Liberty, whether it’s at Ole Miss, wherever it’s at. He’s a phenomenal offensive football coach.

“I just love his story of — he messed up, dude, he did. He owns that. I think he’s got a good personality. I don’t think he has to have the most elite recruiting, elite recruited kids. I think people will want to play for him, his offensive scheme, his system. So I think Hugh Freeze — experience in the SEC, experience against guys you’re going to be playing against week in and week out — I don’t see how that’s not a home run for South Carolina.”

HF just got a huge extension and raise at Liberty. Secondly, no way Sankey allows it.

We can double his "raise" if we want. Sankey owns no one, certainly not our school and he can kiss our collective asses.

Wife can't trust him, wouldn't want my son playing for him. I'm all for forgiveness but little character flaw isn't going away.

Is it the "cocks" part that makes him obvious?

Freeze is waiting for TN this year, or Auburn next.

He set Ole Miss back a few years with recruiting violations? Unless he chests again, I just don't see how any parent would let this "john" mold their kids. Everyone can see past his bible salesman schtick now.

If the other USC starts to stumble, I can see Hugh waiting to go to Southern Cal. Napier would be the better hire for South Carolina.

LSU should hire Hugh Freeze after we are forced to fire O, Wade and Woodward. Can you imagine LSU talent with Hugh’s offensive mind!!!

Pollack should be doing construction work instead of being on ESPN.
