Alabama was playing Texas in week 2 while TCU was playing Tarleton. And if you'd never heard of that school until today, you are not alone.

All that talk and we played Southern.

But Colorado, Tartleton State, and SMU are powerhouses???

Yeah, and TCU is NOT going to see AUB, Tenn, FL, OM, Bama and ARK over a 7-week span (includes a bye). Also start the season vs OOC FSU. That is just one example - LSU's.
Go worry about not being curb-stomped by MICH.

They are going to get pounded by Georgia.

They have to beat Khaki Pants first, and I doubt they do that, but yes, Georgia, Alabama, and likely Tennessee could pound them. Georgia and Alabama were 1 and 2 in the ESPN Football Power Index, TCU about 10. But playoff team choices currently are not as influenced by the numbers as much as basketball

Some of ya'll get your feelings hurt way too easy. I agree with Sonny Dykes. We should be playing > 8 conference games each year, especially with the expanded playoff coming in 2024. Also, as a season ticket holder I'm tired of paying to see the likes of New Mexico, UAB and FCS schools coming to Tiger Stadium. While we're at it, enough of the neutral site games too. Time for the SEC to man up.

Why is this idiot taking a shot at Chattanooga? It's not like they had much choice in the matter, it was a conference game in week 10 against the Citadel for them.

The Citadel would be a tougher game.

Take it up with the big12 or your own people who set up your schedule if you think it was too much to bare. 8 of 10 big 12 teams had conference games start before October and they had their off weeks from week 7-9. So it doesn't look like you were obligated to play 9 straight conference games to end the regular season. Seems like this was on you for setting up a stupid schedule.

I mean, to be fair, he could be knocking the Big 10, too

Dude would win 5 games all year in the SEC.

Only thing Dykes needs to worry about is getting healthier soon, or he'll be gone anyway.

Let’s hear what he thinks now. TCU would have 4-5 losses in the sec and thats being kind.

How many losses would TCU have with Tennessee's schedule this year?
