Is this right? If

I don't think so in the way it's being worded there.

We are sending whichever pick is worst, our own or the Bucks, to Atlanta.

So we own whichever pick is best between our own 2027 1st and the Bucks, and we should be able to send that back to Milwaukee in a trade if we wanted to.

We can essentially give them back their 2026 1st, and then give them whichever pick is better, their own or ours for 2027.
I think we would be stupid to not try to get involved with a trade of Giannis, and we should be playing extreme hardball with them b/c their 2026 1st is going to be extremely valuable if they are trading Giannis.

It was always an overpay, which was the norm with our idiot GM we no longer have.

This thread really came around at the right time b/c I had already been researching and wanting to get some fruit/citrus trees. It was very helpful to see that it can be done with pots.
2 minutes of "previously on", 8 minutes of credits, 10 minutes of commercials.
Just download the torrent and that 65 minute runtime turns into 45.
If I had to pick a last meal it would be a hamburger steak smothered in onions and mushrooms with mashed potatoes, corn and a good gravy, and a nice soft roll to clean the plate with.

But by all means helicopter kids more...cause that's obviously working out.

so just let them be shite heads and end up in detention centers when they are 12? Sounds like it worked out great for you.

I'm not a helicopter parent. but I know damn well my 13 and 11 year old aren't sneaking out of the house late at night to go be dumbasses, and any parent who knows their 12 year old kid does this and does nothing about it is a shitty parent. I would even venture to say that simply the fact that your 12 year old is sneaking out would lead me to believe you're a shitty parent regardless if you knew they were or not.

I have to assume you mean in the current season of the nba, and if not, then:

Exactly. I would bet most people don’t know there’s an election Saturday.

I didn't until this thread, and will now happily go vote no for everything.

I have every alert possible turned off on my phone, but I would not object to a message being sent to cell phones to remind people to vote. And only 1 reminder, not 10 of them.
You're right. My bad, It's Friday/Saturday starts for the regional, not Thursday/Friday.

When there was 12 teams, then a top tier team might have to play 4 or 5 games if they make it to the championship game, and possible wreck their pitching for the regional.
Last year #1 Tenn and #11 LSU both played 5 games. Had Milam not hit the walk off homer against USC, then USC would have played 6 games.

With this new format, your top 4 teams are just playing a normal 3 game weekend series at most, and your next 8 are mostly doing the same, with a few of them maybe playing 4.
This also gives an opportunity for plenty of teams to get some rest at the end of the season if they lose the first game.

It's a better setup for success for the conference as a whole going into regional play.

This is true.
very rarely, but somewhat yes. I don't want them to lose ever, but i'd say i can be happier about losing and going home than i would be about winning and having to stay longer in certain situations.

I'm not fond of playing a Sunday night 11u baseball game starting at 9:30 for the consolation bracket championship. It's a participation everybody gets a "ring" game, and it's ridiculous that it would start that late. Just this past weekend that's what happened in Port Allen. Game was scheduled for 8:15, didn't start until 9:30. Just stupid to schedule a game that late on Sunday, and one of the teams playing in that game was from Monroe. Bunch of 11 year olds getting home at 2 in the morning for finishing 10th place in a tournament.

I got one at 745 in the morning pulling into the church parking lot with my family on a sunday in st gabriel. The cop pulled a mid-road lights blazing U turn like she was after a serial killer to come get me. Sticker was 34 days out of date. I still don't understand how she even saw it.

Wow. That’s pretty shitty.

I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I’ve been pulled over 4 times and not gotten one. Twice I actually got a speeding ticket but they said nothing about the expired inspection sticker (state troopers on the interstate). Twice I was let go with no ticket (BR cop), and those two times I didn’t even have an inspection sticker.

You’re always going to have outliers like your situation, but most of the time a 30+ year old normal dad driving a decent vehicle isn’t even pulled over much less given a ticket, and if they are they get let off with warnings often. An 18 year old any kind of driver gets pulled over and gets a ticket every single time. That’s more of the point I was making.

Jesus this 2nd quarter has been brutal to watch.
Brooks and Green are the two most unlikable pro athletes in the world and they’ve made this 2nd quarter a shite show.

I've seen it a lot this year. It was the only reason Warriors called a challenge in the first place.

And if the ball doesn’t go out on Curry and instead is just blocked out of bounds by Brooks, it can’t be reviewed by the Warriors.
The refs knew damn well it was out on Curry. Don’t allow the review when your 100% sure you made the right call.

Yes the can see if there was a foul during a review for something else.
What were they reviewing? Out of bounds? The extremely obvious out of bounds call that was after the play? That’s not how reviews are supposed to work. That was a bull shite review and overturn, and I hate Dillon Brooks.

So what if it was called out of bounds after the play.
Since when can you challenge if something was a foul that wasn’t called?

Why did the Warriors get to challenge if that play was a foul? And get it overturned to a foul.
I’m sure Detroit would have liked to have been able to do that.

Well we wouldn't be terrible if we had Giannis.

I've "swung by" many times. I've been pulled over 4 times in the last 9 years and none of them resulted in me getting an ticket, both with an expired sticker and even without a sticker at all.
