He could lease something like that for $300 a month, not a big deal IMO. Also, who knows if it is even his!

Nothing like some random twitter comments by fans of rival schools to really put this story in perspective...

Nothing happened with the Fluker money incident so Saban feels he can get away with no repercussions now. Expect to NCAA to do NOTHING with this….

I’m sure Derrick Henry is a trust fund baby and has money coming out of the @$$. So, there was no illegal activity involved here…..

Serious question...what kind of background does this kid come from? Is it at all possible that his parents or family bought the car? I will hold judgement until that is addressed. Some players families can actually afford to buy vehicles...shocker, I know.

It's a Dodge Charger, and probably a 6 cylinder at that. There are quite a few high school kids that drive those now. It's not like he is posing in front of a lambo... A 4 door f-150 cost more than that dodge...

Saban will make a killing when he opens up his Mercedes dealership.

25 new Crimson Mercedes sold every August.. Guaranteed!

1- ''Some players families can actually afford to buy vehicles...''

2- ''He could lease something like that for $300 a month, not a big deal IMO''

3- "Pell Grants"

Possible Answers

1- Max out the Visa Cards, most likely a couple of family members who has a -hope of cashing in on the NFL Jackpot- if it doesn't workout- just go bankrupt.

2- Yea $300 Car note, EASE for someone who has no money to eat. Well it's more then likely a approved "ballon note" loan.

3- Pell Loan =A Pell Grant is money the U.S. federal government provides for students who need it to pay for college!!

BUT, Typically, the college first applies the grant or loan money toward a student's tuition, fees, and (if the student lives on campus) room and board. Any money left over is paid to the student for other expenses. The student might be able to choose whether the leftover money comes in the form of a check, cash, a credit to a bank account. Soooooo if your books are paid for, and you live in a dorm or (friends penthouse) you can keep that leftover (expense).

Its a scamming of system. Sad...

Also, it has the RT stripes, could still be a V6, but not likely, that's easily a 40k car with the wheels.
