The defense isn’t defending her as if she didn’t do it. They’re trying to play the reason of insanity route via over medication of doctors and medical negligence. No side is refuting her guilt of killing the kids.

I form bedding edges with a shovel making a “V trench” and then edge the grass with a string trimmer to get definition. Works best imo unless you are having an issue with soil/mulch wash out

A main difference is the cost of living has increased. Back in 80’s you didn’t need mobile phones, wireless internet access, much higher insurance premiums in all facets, auto and property.

The idea that everyone needs to settle and eat shite is pretty absurd. A newly married couple making 80-100k combined maybe 15 years ago could afford a starter home without issue. Now the “starter home” is averaging $400k. So now that couple needs to be making 200k to afford that.

Forget having kids, they’re way too expensive unless one parent can stay home or there are able and willing grandparents around.

Times have changed. Costs have sky rocketed mostly so to complete and utter greed.

People used to have pride in their jobs. You could support a family of 4 by being the manager of the tire department at Sears. And the man that held that job had pride in his company and his place. That’s completely unachievable nwo

A friend of mine owned a small
Vineyard for several years. He sold his grapes to a high end label that combined his lot with others to make a very high end Cabernet. A few years of bad harvests, combined with a shrinking market and at the time, slowing economy, forced him to get out while he could.

The label he was selling to stopped paying top dollar and opted for cheaper options, thus he had to take way less for his grapes or he couldn’t even offload them at all.

Just wasn’t worth it anymore.

If he’s maxed out his years of service at LSP his pension is set for the most part. May as well go accrue it in another department. As long as the entities aren’t in the same pension fund, it wouldn’t be considered double dipping. He just can’t draw on the pension until he’s not working.

Fine if it’s you and maybe a younger relative.

That said, I’ve dealt with lots of lawn guys in my life. The biggest issue is, showing up and communication. If you can get those two things set, you’ll do well.

The money is in commercial landscaping though. Residential will suck your time dry if you get too many chatty Cathy’s
