So naive to think this doesn't happen. It's also not a big deal. The ncaa hasn't "penalized" anybody since usc in 2010.

Maybe but I did see Bama kick everyone's arse on tv in 2020/21 season. Maybe they get paid but they still gotta win games. I ain't seen anyone who could out-do Bama in the Saban years. You can't tell me that Alabama is richer than other schools. Alabama is a poor arse state. If Bama does better with its players on that kinda money, then shame on your sorry arse team and broke arse boosters.

Meh, parts of Alabama are. There are plenty of folks connected to the university that have more money than sense. I know a couple as most do. Football seasons are spent at their on campus condo after their 100k donation for their 25k box. They are licking their chops at the whole NIL thing.

The thing is, if Alabama and Georgia do it, you can bet that it's standard operating procedure across college football. The most naive thing you could possibly believe is that some top programs are so virtuous that they would never cheat in order to compete at the top level.

I am old enough to be so tired of these kinds of comments. It's like people are still trying to figure this shite out, or that they think college sports with this much money really don't -all- play the game.
There is cheating, and then there is -cheating-. I don't know who speeds over the limit worse than others do. All I know is it's so exhausting to watch these kinda threads pop up constantly all year with fans who attack their rival schools as if their school is somehow exempt from this type of thing.
If you like the sport the way it is, then quit bitching about it. If you want to see it torn down and allll messed up, fine... keep bitching. I guess.

The most outrageous thing he said in the audio is he thinks bryant jr. is the second richest person in the state.

If you told me The University of South Carolina was paying for players and still getting the result we have the past 5 years. I'd tell you were about as financially intelligent as a millennial liberal.

Seems Alabama’s players aren’t just returning to school for their senior year for college gridiron glory.

Maybe. Too bad Propst is a documented piece of shite. Kristen from Two-A-Days, though. OMFG.
