I often do feel the cartilage cracking in my knee and do have pain in bending knee, otherwise not much an issue. Maybe am in same boat as you. Doc was also not too keen (though he kept that option open) on doing surgery

Torn miniscus options
Posted by Bamboozles on 3/7/25 at 11:10 am
Long story short, have a torn meniscus and have had minor swelling on knee. Have trouble bending knee more than 90 degrees without pain.
One time the swelling went way up cause I jogged and had to get knee drained and was given a steroid shot.
Since then am back to where I was before the jogging part, minor swelling and trouble bending more than 90 degrees.
What are my options besides getting it scoped, which I was told may lead to arthritis down the line. Maybe some knee strengthening exercises?
Appreciate the guidance!
Thanks

Favorite Trance tunes

Been listening to EDM last 30 years, exclusively Trance fir the most part. Started a thread on here few years back, gonna give it a go again. Feel free to share your fav tunes, albums, live sets etc.
Gonna start it off with a tune I heard yesterday that has been in constant repeat since then:
Pittarius Code, Hanna Finsen - I Will Watch You (Radio Edit)
Spotify
YouTube
The Tycoos Remix is also great for this tune if you prefer uplifting, progressive.
Enjoy!!!

I appreciate and understand your concern. Will reconfirm what was discussed with him yesterday to be safe.
Yes, from what I understand, I think he gets paid by the funds if his clients select go put money in a particular fund

There are no OOP fees associated here, he is a family friend and has been helpful in the past when me and the mrs had to do a backdoor IRA.

Yes, he paid taxes last year for the first time and will be doing same this year. He earned more than 7K so setting up an IRA for 2024 is the first step. His hobby has been a blessing and met with a financial consultant this afternoon to help him set up a portfolio, and to help him get acclimated and get his feet wet. This is beyond what my capabilities ever were when I was 19

Yes, getting him set up with opening a Roth IRA today in fact. He still will have decent amount of money available to put into ETFs or what not.

Son is 19, has a good bit of money saved in his savings. He (nor I for that matter) is not overly savvy on what is best way to have the money work for him. Till now was doing CDs over the last couple years to get good interest rates. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Aman Anand is an Indian (dot not feather) name, quite a rarity in football. Not middle eastern, geez this board sometimes
ETA: Aman means peace, Anand means joy, both obviously lacking on this board regarding this hire

re: College Applications question

If he plans to go to LSU, none of that matters. With decent grades and a good ACT score he will be covered for the most part with TOPS. Out of state schools will give him more than in state schools.

Finished few days back. Good show, enjoyed it
ETA: yes some decisions by characters seemed done to let the story line go forward but that was ok imho
