First off, I want to say I know the heartache you are all feeling right now. It sucks. I had it when Alabama lost to Florida in the SEC Championship Game with a BCSNCG berth on the line back in 2008 and again last year in the loss to Clemson.
Secondly, your boys definitely deserved to win that game Monday night. They played their asses off and I really hate it for them. They worked extremely hard for over a year to be in that position and came up a little short.
Remember, Alabama used that 2008 and last year's loss as motivation and came back hungry the next season. I absolutely believe that will be the case in Athens next year.
Kirby has changed the culture of your program and you're going to be competing for national titles on an annual basis for years to come.
I know the officiating was atrocious two nights ago. I hate that things weren't called as they should have been because those refs get paid a shite ton of money to get it right and they failed. Hopefully the CFP committee takes a long hard look at how they determine who calls these games moving forward.
Back to the future of you program. I'm excited to see the maturation of Fromm, Swift, Isaiah Wilson, Ridley and all the other underclassmen on your roster. Your incoming guys (Fields, Zeus, AA, Cox, Salyer, Hill, etc.) are going to be studs too.
Point is, y'all aren't going anywhere.
Keep your heads up and know that good things are coming. I appreciate you granting me access to your board and look forward to talking recruiting and football with y'all for years to come.

Nothing for us to hang our heads about. It's over and done. Time to get a head start chopping for the winter ahead. It's gonna be a cold one.
BTW, Tua appears to be the real deal. Here's hoping we see each other a few times in the coming years. I don't think we'll have to hope much.

I wasn't going to post anything about the game over here for a while, but I talked to Americus a few times yesterday and felt like someone from our side should voice how much credit Kirby and Co. deserve for what they've accomplished in such a short period of time.
By the way, I responded back to you on that other board. Let me know if it's something you might be up to doing.

LSU gave us fits when they had Mettenberger and Aaron Murray lit our asses up back in 2012, but neither of them was a true freshman.
It really was unprecedented.

If you lurk our board you'll notice that none of our more reasonable guys have been the ones talking shite. I see the idiotic posts from "Bama" fans on the Rant and almost none of them contribute on our board.
I'm not saying they are alters or other fan base members posing as Alabama fans, just that they don't hold a place of high esteem on our board. Hell, I've never even seen more than half of them post on our board.
My suggestion would be to ignore them. I do.

As far as I know neither one of them has ever posted a single thing on our board.
Posting on the Rant requires site membership. That's it. You have to be approved by Flesh or George to post on our board. I highly doubt either one of them would approve those two based on their post history.

I like the direction out program is going in as well. The thing that irritates me the most about Ridley is we all knew he had that in him.
At least he did it on the big stage! Our offense will be great next season. I am afraid we are going to outscore some teams to win next year.
Saban made a ballsy decision to bench Hurts. I am not sure most coaches would have done that. That and conservative play calling in the 4th quarter won you guys the game.

You are one in the very few humble Bama fans I respect. Your guys played a great game as well. Looking forward to UGA meeting Bama again in the NCG next year as the reckoning is coming. Saint, you are a good dude. While the game was painful, and while I'll never watch the replay, it was a fantastic game. Without a doubt the two best teams in the country and one had to lose. Hate that it was us, but such is life.
I was also feeling good about our future, but then I read This thread, and now I realize that we actually will be terrible and that kirby smart is worse than will muschamp.

My stepdad is a Mississippi State alum and season ticket holder. He's actually glad Mullen left Starkville. I know Florida fans are envisioning Urban Meyer 2.0, but Mullen is nowhere near the recruiter Urban is.
