What are your theories?

Sounds like he suspects the weather laser.

If your seriously asking, there’s a theory out there that the government can create or tamper with the weather to create storms for political purposes, not saying I believe all of it but it’s just funny that after trump announced he’s going to be at the game this happens . The gulf and Atlantic have been quiet all year and if I’m mistaken last year too which I find odd.

I’m thinking more and more this game is going to get postponed. This isn’t just a low passing through. It’s more and more looking like a hurricane passing damn near right over Tuscaloosa at game time.

I'm in North Alabama but following the weather because I have an invite to the game. The storm may be a category 1 hurricane when it hits the coast. It will either hit Mississippi or possibly hit the Florida panhandle. This is unknown until maybe Friday. Tuscaloosa may get heavy rains and 40-50 mph winds.

Maybe my memory is fading and it didn't rain as much during the game itself, but the whole a day of tailgating leading up to it as about the rainiest I've ever seen

We were at that game and it was raining buckets up until game time. We went to the bookstore and bought sweats and left before the game because our 4 year old grandson was upset at the weather. We were drenched by the time we got to the car and changed into dry clothes and headed back to daughters house in Atlanta. Tailgating wasn't bad because the rain held off until dark. We had some Arizona State fans at our tailgate that we met when we went to the game in Tempe.

In fairness, it didn't happen during Texas at Tennessee.

The UGA @ Bama game is probably going to be a complete washout. The remnants of the tropical system could move pretty much right over Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Winds may gust between 30-50mph through the day.

Tailgating looks like a wash. Driving there and back from Georgia will be ROUGH.

Needless to say, you should take the under lol.

They almost have to move this.

There really is no winning solution but Friday night is best case. Rusty just was saying the same. Get it in BEFORE the storm and free up first responders to fully deal with the storm Saturday and keeps travelers safe to and from the game.

Especially with POTUS scheduled to be in attendance. Folks said it was a nightmare in Knoxville with additional security concerns.

#9. Sept. 16, 2023: Georgia 24, South Carolina 14 (Smart)
Conditions: Dreary first-half overcast gave way to heavy third-quarter downpours.
The Game: Down 14–3 at halftime, Georgia adjusted to the wet turf and ripped off 21 unanswered ground points.

I was at this game. It drizzled some, but at no point did it resemble anything close to a downpour.

Didn’t even think about that. What a nightmare.

I’m sure it’s still up in the air, no pun intended, but I see a forecast with the worst of the storm being just about 100-200 miles west of Tuscaloosa mid afternoon Saturday. Just don’t think you can not move it if that’s the case. Still liable to be 30-40 mph sustained winds at that time.

I never realized how many people are hovering around the paranoid schizophrenic spectrum or clearly on the paronoid schizophrenic spectrum prior to social media and message boards

This is the kind of thing that if you said in public or around a group of people, you'd get crazy looks and people would wonder if you were a mass shooter. But on the internet, you can find others who validate your craziness and reinforce it.

the '17 natty was notoriously awful getting through security, but trump was at the '24 bama/uga game and those lines weren't that out of the ordinary, IMO. A little worse than usual but nothing to write home about. Anyone going saturday should definitely plan to head in earlier than usual though.

A 90s match up with Texas Tech was a washout as well .... Got searched on the way in for booze but they didn't check my rain coat...... Friends car got towed ... Byron Hanspard largely stopped... can't remember if the was Goff or Donnan.

it was donnan's first year, and in fact was his first career win at UGA
