Hell yes.
And I don't believe Kirby uses the word "deserved"
The winning team deserved it. I think he says shouldn't. Big difference.

It was a 43 yard FG. You can't rely on a 40+ yard FG to win the game for you; just ask Ohio St.
Tennessee went conservative to set up the FG when they should have been running their regular passing offense which we weren't able to stop the entire game. Plus with time running out it made more sense to throw passes anyway.

“We got outplayed”
Now, how many games have we outplayed other teams and still lost. Plenty.

Fire whoever is responsible for coaching our defensive backs. Are there any UGA coaches who are knowledgeable about pass defending? I guess not.

DB is the most demanding position on the field other than QB.
When you are playing against a talented receiver who is taller than you and just as fast, it is darn near impossible to stop a perfect pass so sometimes the best you can do is position yourself to make a sure tackle after the catch.
That was the problem with the DB play on several of those plays.
Having said that, I do think that our DBs need to be taught to turn and look for the ball sooner and contend for the reception.
And frankly at times it is better to intentionally risk pass interference to break up a pass rather than allowing a big play.
Also, the Safeties need to be coordinator/communicator on these long pass plays and let the DBs know when the pass is released and the direction when possible.
I realize this is a lot easier said than done but it does take a long pass a few seconds to reach the target.

Our guys got back in phase in two cases, they just made a play. That said, if you are going to internationally Interfere, wrap up and tackle them. Don't let them catch it and get the flag.
I real think Aguilar is on the same page with their wrs. We also didn't get to him quick enough or at all.

First one pass our DB has a pick if he turns his head and finds the ball. It was underthrown.
Second one he should’ve had it but got out jumped. The TN receiver mad a helluva play.

For someone who was practically conceding a loss in advance, you seem mighty disappointed in a hard fought Georgia road win. Were you serious with that comment about UGA coaches knowledgeable about pass defending, or was that some kind of sarcasm?

Sports betting is illegal in Georgia. The law is preventing me from laying five grand on a Vols win. My Dawgs have a putrid offense.

If betting was legal in Georgia I would put five thousand on the Vols to win.

I'm shocked that the Vols aren't favored. Georgia's past accomplishments are skewing the perception. I see no reason to be optimistic.

I can't wait for this game tomorrow. This game in Knoxville is gonna teach us a lot.

Hel…I was tentative and nervous AF throughout this game….and definitely wasn’t feeling good after they jumped up 21-7….but can’t fathom just expecting to lose all the way to kickoff and then until we win.
What a miserable way to be after the success we’ve had.

Then we lose the game. Just like if tOSU hit theirs in the Peach Bowl in 2022.
But they didn't, and we went on to win both.

The one thing that Kirby learned from tGOAT was mental toughness. I never was worried being down 21-7. Concerned, yeah, but never worried.

With 7 points i would have won my Vol bet. I was thrilled that we got lucky as hell.

You have good some good tips about SECNetwork+ but it seems that's about all you have to offer.

I quoted you multiple times saying you would bet on Tennessee to win the game. And statements like, "Dawgs have no chance" are not ambiguous. ""I'm shocked that the Vols aren't favored. I see no reason to be optimistic" is not ambiguous. You were clearly saying Tennessee would beat Georgia, and that's fine. What I'm trying to figure out is why you come back now and immediately start bad mouthing Georgia coaches because we didn't win impressively enough on the road in the SEC?

Speaking of betting, I rememember Whiznot saying last week that he’d bet $5k that Tenn would beat Georgia yesterday
