I think this may change the program if Kirby looks in the mirror and make wholesale changes in offense. But that takes time and won’t be this season. He’s gonna have to go with what he’s got the rest of the year.
Which I believe can be 11-1 East title.
I just don’t think we can win a shoot and LSU and Bama want to play that way this year.
If we can put them in a box we have a chance, but that’s gonna be hard.

In 2017, we got embarrassed at J-HS, regrouped and curb-stomped Auburn in SECCG, beat a Big 12 team in a shootout, and was one blown coverage away from a national championship.
In 2018, we played uninspired ball in Death Valley on a national stage, and rebounded to lead Bama in the SECCG, almost returning to the CFP for a 2nd straight year.
Saturday eliminates our margin for error, but we're still on track.
I'm in.

I get that, and I try to give myself hope in thinking that. The main, obvious difference is those AU and LSU teams we lost to were really damn good teams. Even in 2012 when we got shallacked in our only regular season loss, again it was to a good team (and was on the road, like the other 2 games mentioned).
Last week was the complete opposite of all that. This SC is bad, really bad. It was at home. We looked as bad as I've seen us look in years, over a decade maybe. We looked like a peewee team that couldn't do anything right on offense against a team that should finish the season with a losing record (if not for us).
Of course we can still win it all if we win the rest of our games, at least that's not off the table. But it's hard to see that becoming reality with the way we played saturday. Adn the worst part is, unlike some other instances where players just made uncharacteristic mistakes, the biggest glaring issue is on the coaching which definitely isn't going to change this season.

Man I want to be in but nothing I've seen from us or our upcoming competition leads me to objectively believe we can win the SEC. If Coley makes some huge adjustments and our WR can start getting separation, we can pull it off.

Count me in as a believer that we make the championship game. Now winning it will be a difficult task. Not impossible though!

And those were better football teams than this group.

Yeah, that jump from Absolute Zero to one degree above Absolute Zero is almost a tectonic shift.

We have plenty of time to right the ship. A nice tune-up against Kentucky, then a week off to get healthy then a showdown in Jacksonville..
I like the setup.

I give us about 70% chance to make it to the SECCG.
And about 20% chance to win it.
Caveat: We open up the offense and make appropriate changes I would change to 90% and 50% respectively.
