UGA laying 24.5 with the O/U between 51.5 and 53.5 depending on where you go.

I am going to hammer UGA to cover. I think the defense takes Curtis bitching out to “start as a freshmen” as a slight against UGA and are going to put him in a total 4 quarter blender in a careful what you wish for moment.

I like the over because Vandys run D is atrocious and pass D not much better but I’m just not sure UGA will score enough to crack it on their own and I could see Vandy being held to between 0-7 points

I'm not a betting man, but I would bet on UGA to cover. It's at home and just looking at what we did against Arkansas and OK.

Yeah, our previous bugaboo ATS seems to be on the run, this season. I'm not sure that I understand why, but I'm glad to see it happen all the same.

Seems to me we were just way more willing to run up the score against the two directional schools we opened with than we had in the past with our backups in and neither Arkie or OU are any good. If you look at OUs schedule now its hard to find them 6 wins. And they just extended brent. Oh oh.

I do think Matter has the Yipps though. Way more common for baseball pitchers but does happen to QBs rarely.

As far as this game I don think Kirby is going to feel the inclination to let off the gas. IMO he will let our 2s and 3s run it up as much as they can in the second half

As well they should. I'm never a fan of letting momentum slip away just because you pull your starters. If the backups can score against any first string SEC defense, I say let 'em go for 70.

Last I saw was that he could play if it was needed but we will likely hold him out to give him maximum rest for bama.

Some of the "score run up" is on the opponents.

The last 14 points scored on Western Kentucky were a punt return and INT return.

I do like playing our base offense and defense with the backups instead of the "anaconda" when we overmatch the opponent.
Similar skillsets, I prefer to shorten the game and play it smart. Rule #1 is dont beat ourselves.

Didn’t think it was worth starting a new thread, but the weather is looking much better for tomorrow as opposed to the forecast earlier this week.

I would love a 49-0 beat down, but I think UGA will not cover. Probably a score of 38-17.

Georgia's covered and the over has gone over in every game. That's usually a sign of a breakout team. That's the roll that we got on in 2007 and also the roll that the Patriots got on in 2007.

But this is the first week I'm not betting on Georgia. I'm afraid Kirby will shut down the offense again in the second half and throw nothing but quick game and one-on-ones down the field outside of the hash marks. And we'll put the backup DBs in the game who can't cover for shite right now.

I see the game the same as you.

Our offense is better than NC State.
Our defense is better than Auburn.

If the offense plays clean, we should hold them to 9-10.
If the defense plays clean, then we should be hitting 42-45 off of field position alone.

Those are "ifs" and playing clean for 50 minutes is tough.
But I wouldnt be shocked if there is some struggle (an early good drive for Vandy to push their total to 13) but we offset them with defensive/special teams points to keep us in that 45+ category.
