No false starts at least?

Pretty underwhelming performance.

Halftime thoughts:

-Beck needs lots of work
-Bowers can carry this team in games like this
-Woodring and Zeirkel both look good
-This might be the best secondary we’ve ever had
-Final score will be 40 something to 7

Emotions removed. This is an exercise:

bobo - you don't run it up the middle with no timeouts and just 20 seconds left

They also handed it to the dude that can be easily arm tackled.

This. Was not smart football. Spike it and you've got 2 plays left. Run it straight up the middle with your smallest back and you get what we got.

I am positive Bobo is a liability
I am positive Carson Beck will not be the starter by years end
I am positive that Cash Jones should never be allowed to touch the backfield unless we are up by 50

We’re gonna be ok. Again, it’s UT Martin and there wasn’t much hyping up for this game. Not making excuses because I know they can play better, but we’ll get it rolling soon.

It’s also the first game of the season with a new OC. We start looking like this in game three I’ll start being worried

I want to see Beck angry and frustrated, not looking lethargic and high.

The run up the middle was obviously not the right play to run. Curious to know what happened there.

Positives
-clean bill of health
-no issues in the kicking game
-disciplined in the sense of no penalties

Negatives
-o line. Don’t ask for awards unless you are ready to win them
-play calling. I didn’t expect us to whip out insanity, but situational play calling has scared me. Do that run on 3rd with no timeouts in a big game and your arse is grass bobo
-beck. Settle down. While he’s “played” this is the first game in 4 years for him that someone actually prepped for him. It doesn’t excuse layup misses, but he’s going to learn what others see in him.

From what I've seen, Bobo is the problem so far. We are going to lean on Bowers a lot unless he figures it out

Beck almost threw that pick and has missed some easy throws. Hard to not be concerned at this point in his career, IMHO.

Looks like he's running the offense well, but isn't making any explosive plays.
