I was in Missouri for work and got a Rubicon as my rental car. I stopped at a restaurant to meet a coworker before heading to inspect a site. As soon as I got out of the truck some young kid walked up and handed me a rubber duck. I told him sorry buddy but this is a rental but he insisted. Didn’t wanted to be a dick so I just threw it in the console once he had walked away. Just seems weird someone hanging out in the parking lot waiting to hand out a rubber duck but it is what it is.

I remember seeing him at flanker on one possession and thinking did someone forget to take the jersey off the special teams jersey. #47 struck me as odd for a wide receiver and they kid wasn’t big enough size wide for TE so I was like who is that guy.

I hate that happened to your stuff, but I had a business professor when I was in college that told me one time, “don’t have more personal items in your office that you can’t put in a box in 2 minutes if your get walked out” and I have been like that my whole career. Which I know your situation was different and to this date I have never been fired or laid off, but every job I have ever resigned from, I had the small amount of personal items removed from the office before I gave them my signed notice. Most jobs I have worked out my notice but the last job I left I was thanked for my time but was paid out my two weeks notice and told I could leave immediately which was awesome.
