Georgia fans are scared. Media is in love. Regardless, it’s still 3 weeks away.
Anyone want to go on record & predict what the point spread will be?

UGA -6.5, assuming we both are still undefeated
O/U 70.5
O/U 70.5

Vegas prediction- -1.5 UGA because it is a home game and UGA will be coming off a win vs Flarda.
Personally, I think we win by 9 or more. Obviously a lot can change in 3 weeks. I'm not drinking the UTk cool aid yet. But are we carrying composure cards in our back pocket or carrying brass knuckles. That's what I don't know.

I predict Tennessee loses to Kentucky before UGA/Tennessee ever happens.

Beautiful Fall scene.
I don't bet or follow the betting lines but my guess is we win by a couple of TD's.
My general perspective is this:
1. Tennessee's strength is obviously their offense vs our defense which is improving as the season progresses. I think our defense is significantly better than Bama's. Florida and Pitt held Tennessee to 38 and 34 points respectively and I can't see the Vols scoring much more than that on our defense.
2. Tennessee's weakness is their defense. They have given up a lot of points in most of the games they've played. Their best game was the blowout vs LSU but LSU's offense was crap in that game so their defense was on the field most of the game. If we use Bennett's mobility to force the point of attack outside, then I can easily see us scoring 6 or 7 TD's on Tennessee. The Vols have a stout DL though so don't try to run the ball up the middle until they get tired in the 2nd half.
Bennett just needs to play within himself and throw accurate short passes right to the receivers.
He needs to roll out with TE blocking so he can see the field. He often throws high in the pocket because he doesn't have a good line of sight over the tall linemen.
He needs to stop telegraphing those flairs out in the flats, otherwise bad things will happen.
If he has open field in front of him, he needs to take the yardage every time unless there is a wide-open receiver downfield. Do this often enough and their secondary will be forced to come up to stop the outside run. When they do, stop and throw to trailing receivers or TE's who slough off their blocks.
In short: we need to grind down the field with balanced attack that wears down a Vol defense that lacks quality depth and quality in general.
As such, I'm a expecting a score of something like:
Georgia 45
Tennessee 31

I too think Kentucky gets a W in Knoxville before the big match up. I think the line will be Dawgs -7 against UT. Alabama was -8.5 on the road this week, I wouldn't know why it would be much different in a few weeks.

This.
Tennessee has proven they can hang for 60+ minutes, so this isn't going to be a matter of their wilting in the 4th Q. I say if we have the game well in hand by 2 scores once Krypton Fanfare plays, stretch it out to 4.

Agree. Strangely calm on this one.
OT, why the frick is Pollack saying TN should be #1? One would think he wouldn't shite on UGA so much.

Didn't we already handily beat a #3 team to start the season?
Keep in mind, the Vols beat a Bama team that barely escaped Texas and A&M, two mediocre teams.
So beating Bama at home maybe historically significant for the Vols, but doesn't make them world beaters.

They have the best win so far.
It isn't a controversial statement if you want to encourage more big time game environments.

I'm shocked they didn't learn from lots of HS rivalry football games. When you tear down your own goalposts in NW Georgia, there's a good ol'boy in the parking lot with an acetylene torch cutting it up into pieces for sale, with the proceeds going back to the athletic department for new ones.
