Even if he does return, it most likely will just be a matter of time before he is injured again.
Question for all, if you had to pick between MM and JSW to be completely healthy this year and the other to be completely out, who would you pick?
I know it's an a-hole question, just curious.
I want them both very badly, but hypothetically which would you want?
I think JSW has a better chance to be an every game threat, but MM can be that one play difference maker i.e. the last time he played Florida.

Malcolm is a better player. He's much more than a 1-play threat. People seem to forget how good he is

I think Mitchel has more edge to him...see Florida game a few years back.

But what the hell is going on with him...he got injured the first game last season...and it wasnt even a contact injury? He has had more time to re-coop than everyone else...did he re-injure it?

Mitchell is a deep threat but he's also a threat to blow a play wide open every time he touches the ball. Whether he's running a go rout, a slant, catching a screen, or running an end-around, he's a threat to score from anywhere on the field. JSW has great straight-line speed and he's a helluva deep threat, but he's not near as shifty as Mitchell and can't make people miss like MM26 does.

He had to have his knee scoped a few weeks ago due to scar tissue.

I think Richt's blowing smoke, hopefully.

I truly think he suits up vs. Clemson. We'll see... I don't have any sources, just speculation.

I'm hoping for the best, but I don't think we see him for a while. I think absolute best case scenario is USCe. That bye week giving him extra time to heal should be a good thing. I would do back flips if he was back for Clemson. Personally, I think he's the 2nd best player on our offense behind Gurley.

I don't expect Mitchell back until the UT game, honestly.

Mitchell won't play until he's able to practice, IMO.

I won't expect a damn thing until I hear that he's at least wearing a green jersey.
