This is the 10th straight season with at least a 15 point loss on the year.

I'm not saying I want Richt fired (I think that's a knee-jerk reaction made by stupid fans and stupid programs) but I'm not saying I'll be upset to see him retire either.

Just know that if he ever leaves or gets fired we aren't going out and getting a Saban or some other top tier coach on the market.

The good news is that's probably only 15 years away at which point we'll still be talking about that 2005 SEC championship.

True enough, and I know Alabama was just a better team but no way we should ever lose like that with the talent we have. I am not calling for his head, just know that this is a recurring theme we see. We'll probably win out now that we've gotten our annual kick in the arse...

fricktards dont' realize that. The day we fire richt for not starting out 5-0 on the season is the day we're getting a derek dooley and all these dumbfricks can eat their shite.

im willing to let this play out considering the new coaches and shift in resources dedicated to the program. Sure CMR has been there for 15 yrs but this philosophy and all the asst's are new. I mean shite...are we ready to dump Pruitt after his 2nd year?

If CMR can't get it done over the next few years it'll take care of itself.

Hence I'm not clamoring to fire him. But I am tired of watching us settle for fricking the fat chick at the bar every year. Take the dime home for once.

Georgia almost always goes out and hires some unknown and it could be good or it could be bad. I mean we hired Shotty after a run in the NFL. Georgia would not pay big for someone who is dominating at another school. So I think we are better off with Richt. Just my 2cents.

Another stat to think about is we have only won the SEC East 2 freakin times in the past 10 years. Richt can't get it done with the talent we have at UGA. He just can't win the big game on a semi consistent basis. He just can't. I don't know what he did to piss off his god but it must of not been good.

What's the difference between this next few years and the last few years and the few years before that? At what point do you call it? Honest question.

You don't. You just accept the fact that the program is getting better at smaller increments relative to everyone else and, maybe, we can sneak up on someone every now and then. Maybe we won't be too far behind everyone else when he does leave and maybe that person will be capable of bringing the program around the corner

You're an idiot.

You have any idea (try not to Google it) how long our SEC title drought was prior to Richt taking over?

Dumb effing moron.

It's probably easier for the championship minded fans to just accept the situation and lower our standards. Really should stop beating our heads against the wall. It is what it is.

Are you kidding? The program is getting better, in smaller increments? We won the SEC in 2005, how has it gotten better since then? It has absolutely regressed. FACT! We have only won the east 2 times in the past 10 years. Mizz has matched us, pathetic.

No team in the EAst puts out more talent in the NFL than us. Only Bama and LSU had more going into this year and only but a few guys (like less than 5).

Richt has proved time and time again that he can't win the big game. Sure he may win 20% of them at best, but that is still terrible. I guess some people are happy with a christian coach who can get us 8-9 wins.

20 years. So is that the University's official benchmark? That would actually make sense...

No shite. I was surprised at how ineffective our offensive was - I can't believe that we couldn't have done a better job of hitting the TE or getting Sony into space. I guess their D is that damn good. Plus there's no better motivator than Saban and they were ready.

The defense played tough but it was only a matter of time before they broke one and then a couple of shitty special teams plays later and we were fricked.

Well, considering what we came from, you'd think people would be happy having played for 5 titles in the last 15. We can't win them all and we gotta come to terms with the fact we ain't Bama and no matter what we do, we're not getting the next Saban for a head coach, either.

It sucks to not win them but at the same time we could end up like Tennessee and hire a bunch of shitty coaches and suck. At least with Richt he will pull out some good years every now and then.

In 2012 we got embarrassed by USC and still went on to have a solid year.

That puts it even more on Richt. AD, DC, OC, assistants have all been recently changed, and yet, same old prison rape result in a big game. The only constant between this and years past is Richt. Rinse. Repeat.
