Because Stetson's been here about 7 years. That experience been more important for Smart than potential and ceiling for the situations we've been in so far.
Smart is selling out development for next year to make sure he wins this year. Can't blame him really. He's thinking game by game, not about next season.

That and he’s the best QB we have not named JT Daniels.
But obviously we don’t want to play the best players we have right now. We want to select players based on how good we hope they become. That plays well in a locker room.
So what pisses you off most about Bennett? The fact that he tied the school TD record in a little over half a game of football or that he was the starter today when we whomped the #8 team?

I expect it’s because he is a good looking guy who is a God on the UGA campus. He has been a huge asset to Georgia when injuries were threatening us. What he lacks in natural ability he more than makes up for by his hard work and his refusal to lose. His story really would make a good movie.

Sooo, we're 5-0 and dominating in all facets of the game regardless of who the starting QB is? Our clear starting QB keeps getting injured and our backup QB is serviceable and a large part of us being 5-0.
