Should've been Fields leading us on to the field in Tuscaloosa.

Doesn't matter how elite you are at every other position, if you don't have the QB you aren't winning the chip.

I agree with everyone else. the stetson experiment should be over now. We know we could roll him out there against Vandy, UK, Mizzou and etc but we wouldn't grow as a team. It's either got to be JT or Carson Beck.

All hope is not lost people, this was extremely disappointing but we still have an opportunity to adjust.

Yeah you’re about to get some more spirits when JT goes pro and we didn’t play him... changes need to be made.

If he’d have stayed he probably gets in last year and is our starter this year. So yeah...frick Fields.

Agreed. Fields should be here and he should have been here last year. But is also not mutually exclusive with the idea that Fromm should have been QB in 2018. Fromm was not the problem in 2018.

Fields chose to transfer. The idea that Kirby “let” him leave, or “chose” Fromm over him is horseshite

Yep. He is a god damned loser and will always tuck tail in the face of adversity.

If fields goes to OSU out of HS, guess what, he sits. Potentially gets mad and transfers to UGA.

Just bad timing.

Yes and no, Fields certainly wasn't the better QB in terms of acumen but he's a future top 10 pick. When you have that guy on your roster, you give him the damn ball and figure the rest out. Would we have lost more games in 2018? We probably would have.

Would we have been better positioned to win tonight? Yes

Ole Miss and Bama last week is what CFB is today. There is no reason to be balanced, just play sandlot football and do it better than everybody else. QBs.first, receivers second, o linemen that can pass block and running backs that can block and catch the ball, in that order.....it’s all that matters. Don’t even recruit a defense......all you need are warm bodies on D. As long as they don’t get killed physically by walking on the field they are good enough until we decide why have a defense on the field at all....just kick off, throw a TD, and the loser will be the team that can’t do this for 4 qtrs and a 2 point conversion in OT.

Lol Kirby wasn’t thinking about 2019 or 2020 in 2018. And rightfully so. If he thought Fromm gave us the best shot to beat Bama (he did) then you gotta try to win it all. We weren’t gonna throw the season so a freshman could get some reps.

As crazy as this sounds, this honestly makes sense when you think about it for a bit. Our defense is hands down the most athletic and versatile squad you could possibly assemble. We match up well with Bama's talent and it still didn't make a difference.

You can't even touch the receivers in today's football, so it makes sense just to take shots over and over until you get a PI call.

His original choice was Ped State. We were #2, OSU is now #3.

It didn't make a difference because the least talented player to see the field for either team was starting at QB for UGA.

Switch the quarterbacks and UGA wins by 3 scores.

And Fromm’s original choice was Alabama. I mean he was still a 5 star, and he was the SEC Freshman of the Year who was a defensive stop away from winning the natty as a true freshman. This situation we currently find ourselves in is nothing like that one. We’re talking about a former PWO/scout team QB, starting over a 5 star former Gatorade player of the year. I’d compare last night to Fromm going into ND as his first road start. I only hope the knee is 100% in two weeks.

Your team let up 73 to Clemson yesterday. Shut the frick up.

Every coach in the country would’ve done the exact same thing. frick Fields. We will kick his arse in the playoffs.
