I got my egg because I had the Chargriller metal knock off — the Akorn which is almost as good as the real thing — and may have gotten it too hot for the IR thermometer to read and damaged the grill pretty good.
It was an oversight and not intentional. But what a ride it was getting there.

For hamburgers you just treat it like a regular charcoal grill.
You can get fancy and get a charcoal basket that raises the coals to right under the grates and/or get a GrillGrate setup to better sear. But for cooking burgers, dogs, etc, you can basically use the BGE/any of the Kamado style setups like a Weber Kettle or Walmart charcoal grill.

You haven’t really lived until you’ve had one hit 900 degrees.
Also it will try and steal your soul when you look into the fire.

I don’t do employment law.
But I agree she needs to “document document document” everything. Also check and see if there is a particular COVID policy issued by whatever government she is working for — something in that may provide guidance.

Link to his story?
I am pretty sure Mars has stated he won’t tell anyone what the basis for their case was. But what we do know is a dying relative who is hours away isn’t grounds for immediate eligibility. (Luke Ford). So what sort of hardship or situation existed which warranted immediate eligibility. You might think it’s because he was sitting on the bench, but even Pablo Fields has acknowledged that is a tough choice picking between an experienced starter and a super talented future star.
That leaves a couple of other bases for eligibility — 1. Hardship based on the baseball player event, 2. he was lied to by Coach Smart et al, 3. he was given impermissible benefits as part of his recruiting process and agreed to be a whistleblower, or 4. everyone was replaced with lizard people.
Or, I guess, we can just assume the NCAA just decided to do it “just because” in this situation and Mars gets paid a lot of money to throw darts at a dartboard.
FWIW, I don’t blame Fields for not feeling comfortable joining the UGA baseball team and staying here after what happened. But it is also the simplest explanation for immediate eligibility, isn’t wholly contradicted by the statement Fields put out because it can be couched as a personal feeling related to a single player and not the institution, and the refusal to state the grounds for seeking immediate eligibility is a sign the bases is something hinky or something covered in some confidential settlement agreement.
And, as someone who was at the LSU game, I would have played Fields starting then. He didn’t look great against Auburn, but we needed a spark and it would have been a spark. Fields would have ultimately been wasted in last year’s offense and done well in Monken’s system.

Precisely.

How do you figure?
Fields claimed he did not feel welcomed here because of racist remarks made by a baseball player. Are you suggesting he lied?

Why didn’t we just run the triple option the entire third quarter. We know how much that bugs Saban & Co.
re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks?
Posted by Matlock on 10/19/20 at 6:10 pm
What do we know about Daniels? Besides having an awesome last name, he was first seen at practice without a knee brace this week.
Anyone who has had to wear a brace for an injury can appreciate you aren’t 100% the day or week you take it off. While a brace provides support, it also limits the mobility of whatever it is bracing by design.
If we played Daniels and he hurt his knee and we lost the game, people would be calling for Coach Smart’s head for throwing away a 5 Str quarterback during a season which might get cancelled. Further compounding the narrative that he can’t manage QBs and possibly running off future QB recruits.
But what do I know? I’m just a lawyer and certainly don’t get paid millions of dollars to draw up plays and manage a football team. (And I would be woefully unqualified for such a job, too)

It makes no sense, financially, for someone who gets bonuses for winning to not field the players he believes have the best chance at winning.
It makes no sense for a super competitive person to not field the players he believes have the best chance at winning.

The knee brace just came off JT Daniels. He had two procedures on his knee within the last year.
I have no doubt, healthy, he is our best option. But I don’t know the time and place to start him is on the road against Alabama, when his knee brace just came off. Imagine him having to scramble and reinjuring his knee. For the same reason I feel like Stetson has been told to not scramble as much. Because we just don’t have the depth to have him go out until Daniels is healthy.
The offense seems to respond better to Stetson than Mathis. Some of that is obviously lack of experience.

Haven’t read the suit. Generally, if there is a defective chair you sue the property owner/holder and the manufacturing company. I am guessing this is what is happening here.
re: Clay Webb being sued
Posted by Matlock on 1/4/20 at 12:16 pm
Usually a suit is filed in federal court because it is a claim under a federal statute — like the Truth in Lending Act or a violation of the Civil Rights Act — or because the Plaintiff and Defendant reside in different states. I’ll pull this Complaint later and link it here.
Heck I need to update that. I moved to Cochran last year.

A federal lawsuit can be a civil suit. Most of the lawsuits I file are in federal court.
