A walk-on won a natty and you're talking about not developing qb talent?

So you’re saying even though Alabama had more talent and the “better” QB we still won? Sounds like a solid case for Stetson. Then you claim the rest of us don’t know anything about football.

Which one played with a defense that gave up 10 PPG?

Stetson Bennett returning 100% gives this team the best chance to win in 2022. 537 Yards, 5 TD's, No INT's, 175 Passer Rtg, 9.5 YPA in 2 of the biggest games UGA has ever played in.

And yall really would rather go into the season with just BVG and Stockton (All but official that Beck is gone)

Which one beat Alabama and Michigan and won a NC? Which one had a QBR of 86.7? (only .9 behind the Heisman Tropy winner). Which UGA QB is the only one in UGA CFB history to throw a TD pass in a NC game?

I swear some of you just make me shake my head and wonder how in the world you can figure out how to use a computer with the IQs you’re working with.

But hasn't one of the main talking points of the Stetson haters been that defense doesn't win Natty's anymore and that Kirby was stupid because we need elite gun slingers to do that? But now the only reason we won it is the defense? I see slight contradictions in your reasoning

Look I think Bennett has heard all the the he had superior talent we won in spite of him theories coming from fans and wants to prove he can do it again without as much talent as he had and if that’s the case then I’m 100% behind the kid .. 100% DGD

Dude. I have been a solid Bennett supporter the whole time. Even to being obnoxiously so.

In fact, the post you are quoting was said in order to make the point you made. (Maybe I should have put the /s?

I’m no insider, but there have been multiple mentions of Burton being a possible transfer for a few weeks.

On here? I don't recall one.

Which podcaster or beat writer mentioned this?

Not on here. SoFl said it several times...or I should say hinted strongly at it, and when Burton announced came out and said Burton was who he was referring to.

This isn't something new. he even said that the coaches had heard he was thinking of transferring, then talked him into waiting until spring...but apparently Burton changed his mind again and decided to go.

I was thinking you frequented that board. Do you not?

I just figured I was not making myself clear...and maybe I wasn't obviously sarcastic. It caught me off guard, though.

I think he will do fine next year if he wins the job.
He will have his hiccups. That is something we should expect with him out there. He will also throw some amazing pinpoint passes.

But, I realize it is very advantageous to have a great defense, but he will also have a great cast of offensive players around him...probably better than this year. We have a favorable schedule. We'll go 11-1 or 12-0 next year, imo.

1. Do defenses win championships in today's game?
2. Were our defenses then as good as LSU 2019 or Alabama 2020?
3. based on NFL career (because that is what Lucius is most concerned about) is Stafford a better QB than Tua or Jalen Hurts?

DEFENSE brought the TITLE…. Stetson didn’t bring anything but a LOSS!

But we were told that defenses couldn't win a title in today's game. Can it? Do we absolutely need an elite QB/offense to win a title, or no?
