Looks like it was burning spools of fiber optic cable stored under the bridge that was burning. Rumor is that a car fire under the bridge is what set it off.

For those not familiar with this stretch of road, it is a bridge but a mile long... underneath is alot of rail and industrial stuff, pre-existing predating the interstate in the 60's.

Not a typical "bridge " per se.

This isnt just a rebuild of a bridge.

So a bridge on a major artery of a major city is severed neatly by a "random " fire at one of the worst possible spots and it happens almost precisely at the start of rush hour.....and this doesn't seem suspicious to anyone or raise any red flags?

Wouldn't a fire need to burn a lot hotter and longer than that to melt steel? Not claiming to know details. Just pointing out the obvious scent of horse shite all over this deal.

A bunch of PVC pipes under the bridge caught fire. It takes a lot to get those going but once they do they burn hot enough to melt steel.

Still haven't heard what exactly caused the fire in the first place though.

OK. Let's assume that's true.

So, in this explanation we have a pile of combustible material that is capable of quickly destroying a load bearing structure. And so this potential detonator is placed directly under that structure. And ignited. Randomly. At the busiest possible time for that structure.

Sorry. Still smelling thick bullshite vapors here.

Remember on 911 when the first plane hit?

Most everyone assumed it was just a random accident. Sound familiar? Then another plane hit the other tower and all that innocent naive stuff about it being an accident immediately evaporated. Reality set in.

Is there something else planned for ATL? Is there a second plane? Sure as shite hope not. I'm getting the fear though.

One of the most basic tactics of military strategy prior to an invasion or bombing or similar is to cut off the main escape routes.

Deeprig also mentioned that massive amounts of fiber are moving optically through extension cords under this structure. What kind of damage/chaos are we talking about if those lines had in fact gone down?

One of the highest hazard fires is high piled plastics. It's bad practice to store them under bridges, but I see it with regularity

Everyone keep their fingers crossed BLM doesn't conveniently have one of their monthly riots/protests in the streets to add to this shitstorm
