here is an opinion. Watching these two teams makes me think that Georgia is really awful! The only game like this we had, was Georgia Southern.

Certainly we started slowly. I felt like we had the best team from the East that year, and we did come close to upsetting Alabama. I understand what you mean when you say we were outplayed, but I'm not sure I totally agree with that. We got out gained offensively, but we came up with some very timely plays. When Alabama comes up with timely plays we all say it is due to preparation and determination. They kept after their opponents until they forced a fumble/interception etc. When we do that we all say we were lucky and didn't belong there.
Not pointing at you, mind you. It's just something I've noticed about our fan base. When things go our way, we call ourselves lucky. When an opponent gets the same type break we claim we were unprepared, or they forced the turnover. It's psychological thing with us.

How did we benefit from it? Mind you, the East is pretty weak right now, but when expansion first hit the East was winning the SEC regularly. And. the east will do it again...it's cyclical. So, I'm not sure what you mean by this.

I said it in the other thread but I think our band is obnoxious other than Glory and Hail after scores and Krypton after the 4th quarter.

Pregame in the stadium is lame. LSU has the Pregame Salute, Auburn the eagle, we all hate sandstorm but you can't deny it gets Columbia jacked, OSU dots the I,... We get Elton John. Hell, we had to threaten to give our students tix away just to get them to show up before the 2nd quarter. No coach should have to plead with the fans to be in their seats before kickoff.

That problem is easily resolved. Close the students from entering 10 minutes before kickoff. Arrive late? You don't get in.

literally impossible to make everyone happy. If we wear them, some people will love it. The other half of people will say it's "fake juice" or "gimmicky" and complain to high heaven that we're pulling out stupid stunts and hosting a fashion show instead of trying to win football games. Either way, people are complaining.
