DEFINITELY an unpopular opinion with me. I HATED those things and it has nothing to do with the way we played that game!

Good one.
UGA's jerseys are amazing, but we don't have some "untouchable" traditional jerseys I.E. Michigan, Penn St, or Bama.

Ray Goff's season in 1995 was one of the best coaching jobs in UGA history given the injuries that year.
As far as stadium atmosphere we are the Michigan of the south, we need less old alums in the stadium.

Agreed. Ours colors are red and black. Wearing black shouldn't be a rare thing. Clemson wears different variants of orange, purple, and while all the time without people thinking its a gimmick

Choir boys don't win in football.
I'm not saying I want a whole bunch of felons, but some disorderly conduct wouldn't be the worst thing.

Somewhere between the current program and UGA North in the NFL

Meh, Idk I don't LOVE them, but they definitely weren't as bad as they got a rap for.
Now, they could have went with a different color pant but I thought overall they looked pretty good.

The people/group/entity/whatever or whoever it is...that runs gamedays has the same archaic, prehistoric, stuck in the mud mindset our AD has.
Go to a game at any other big time school, what do you immediately notice walking to the game? Well, for starters you'll notcie that there are people tailgating all around the stadium. At UGA, nobody tailgates right next to the stadium. Granted the bridge and ECR have a lot to do with that (and I love the bridge) but still. Also we are nazis when it comes to parking passes. I'm all about making money but FFS ther'es like 3 free lots on campus. Me and my cousin used to ride up to athens for like 10 straight years and park in that teeny little driveway lot behind baldwin hall. Then they made that permit only just like most other lots on campus. There should be incentives for arriving to campus early, which now there is none. Speaking of cheap, hire some fricking garbage crews. They took my north campus tailgate spot away because of all the garbage. Ok yeah, it was trashed, but when we have 12 hours of tailgate and the only trash receptable is the cardboard piece of shite that was left out friday night and not ever attended to, wtf do you expect? They could open north campus up to tailgate at 5am and be perfeclty fine with no issues if they would put even a little foresight into it. Hire cleaning crews to patrol on foot, put em in shifts. There should ALWAYS be someone walking around with grabbers and a garbage bag. Have crews come around and empty the trash cans every 30 minutes to an hour. give people an outlet to dispose of their trash! Ole miss does this and it works fine. Back to the stadium...what's the other thing you notcie going to other big schools? They acknowledge histoyr and former players! Hell, go to AU and you'll see 50 foot high posters outside the stadium to go along with the statues of former greats. Bama has statues of famous coaches. What does sanford have? Well gate 6 sure is roomy, and there's that guy outside the gate on the bridge telling me I'm going to hell bc I beat off once. Even get in the stadium...where are the flags? the banners? The pictures...anything? We have the flags going around the top of the east end wiht the SEC/national titles, and that's cool. But tha'ts it! That's the only thing in or outside sanford (I guess minus the dawg burial plots) that acknowledges or recognizes our past in any way. It's shameful. Oh, and when we finally did open the purse strings just barely and built vince a statue...we put it a mile from the stadium where nobody is going to see it. As far as in-stadium music...gag me but at least it's gotten better. Our decision makers seem to be so hung up on "what's hot" and try to capitalize on it. Soulja boy...ok whatever it's garbage but at least we were good at the time and it got the crowd amped. The next year was put on...ok yeah yeah but I mean are we really trying ot find a song for every season? NExt year was party in the USA, enough is enough. You should be fired. The next year they kept playing "boys of fall" and that was the last straw wiht me. You know some crusty old fart was like "hey, this is about football! Let's play this, everyone will love it" without realizing that it's coma-inducing in its slowness and cliches, plus it was written but a bald UT fan midget poser.

I don't know if we can make that statement. Has there ever been a team full of choirboys?
I understand what you are saying, and don't totally disagree. There are certain positions that you want "nasty" attitudes. OL, LB, DL for instance.

you couldn't be more wrong.
I can't tell another man his taste in how something looks is wrong, so if you liked the look fine. But the hatred for them has NOTHING to do with performance. I and 99% of everyone else was shitting on them even before the game. It was a chicken shite move by our AD to make some extra money. The jerseys were horrendous and didn't look like UGA. I hated the 09 jax unis too but at least looking at a TV one would recognize it was UGA. The boise uniforms were an absolute abomination and it's despicable they were ever ok'd.

Interesting. I didn't really care for him at first, but warmed to him over the years. I went from not liking him...to liking him a little bit....to liking him and respecting him and the job he did a lot. I hate to see him go, but I like Smart right now more than I did Richt when he was first hired.
Yep, he was a great guy, but I never saw any fire or passion from him. That made me doubt him from day one.
Another one I have for the immediate future is that I think UGA will win the East in 2016, and have the chance to play for a lot more.

The helmets are what I REALLY didn't like. I think we should NEVER monkey with the helmet. I like the black jersey. I don't really care if we wear white or silver/gray pants. But I am more of a traditionalist, I guess.

I understand what you are saying. People like fire and passion. But Muschamp had a LOT of fire and passion, but I would have hated him. Tom Landry never showed any emotion, yet won regularly. It's a personality thing....and personal preference. I really don't care so much about the personality of the coach.

It's possible. Tennessee looks poised to do something, and I kind of think this could be their year. I think Florida will take a big dive.

This. Silver helmet was badass and I think people would be stunned how much better those would've looked with black or silver pants.

Vince, while he did well with the Country Club Sports, royally f'ed our football program. No way we should be with a National Title since 1980.
Same with Harrick, we should have fired the Son and let Jim keep coaching. We are going to have to hold our noses to ever be great a bball. Florida went from behind us to way ahead of us.
Would like to move away from the Power G and go to an Olde English G on a Silver Helmet. Bring back Red Pants.
