Richt went to the top recruits to tell them that it was his decision and that he wanted them to stay with UGA.... It's happening.

That thought crossed my mind when he flew to Washington right after the AU game to see Eason. I mean that was a little weird.

He told Eason he could help him win a Heisman at the "U".

I am hearing that if Georgia loses the coin flip at the start of the Tech game Richt is fired. If we win the coin flip McGarity is fired. Lots of pressure on the captains to make the right choice. Gonna be interesting.

I still have friends in the Bulldog Club and the Alumni Association and they and I have heard nothing from McGarity in support of Richt. I could draw a conclusion from that that Richt will likely be gone if we lose the Tech game.

680 said the other day that Jeff Schultz sent McGarity an email to McGarity regarding Richt's future essentially saying;

1) Is Mark Richt going to be the coach in 2016?
2) Do you understand that a no comment will create even more speculation

His response: We're focused on Georgia Tech

Basing such an important decision on the result of one game is as moronic as flipping a coin. For years those in the know have been saying that McGarity is the drag on the program. Why would anyone want McGarity to determine Bulldog future?

To be fair, McGarity very realistically could have said that while fully supporting Richt. The man just has the PR savvy of a skinned grape.

I would assume any decision would not be made based on any one game, but an accumulation of games over a period of several years with this game being the final straw.
Someone obviously wanted McGarity to determine Bulldog future or he wouldn't be in the AD position. What do you think?
