Where it came a Noah flood on a miserable homecoming night against Kentucky. And the first half went badly. But then a funny thing happened, and the man who knows the most about the guys who set up the running game, and the man who knows the most about the running backs, had enough and got after everyone on the sideline. And the coach we were all the most concerned about got his duties all but reassigned in the game. And then the running game started clicking and the Dawgs won.

And all The Who’s in Whoville were grumpy for days afterward. But they didn’t know what was going on behind the scenes. And what was going on behind the scenes was going to make everything okay going forward. Because the guy responsible for all the misery wasn’t going to be solely responsible for anything going forward.

Our offense during the Kentucky game felt like we were all crawling through the shite pipes to escape Shawshank, but the exit was 100 miles down the shite luge.

Men...

We’re about 3/4 through that mile...not there all the way. But closer than we were.

A heckuva way to describe a 21-0 win.

What if PB and Fromm called most of the plays and managed the flow of the game. And Coley, a couple of analysts, Dell, and GA’s drew up the game plans? Coley’s job might be to like, I don’t know, break down personnel and tendencies and lead analysis.

That might be a rumor. Or it might not be. Lots of funny ones going around today from Tuscaloosa to Athens. Dumb stuff like Tua being out a week and Fromm having LASIK during the off-week because he can’t see the field.

LASIK takes like 4 weeks for contact clearance....see the pun....wait...

Not seeing the field would explain a lot of hanging onto the ball for 7 minutes on a dropback. I hope the implication of the LASIK is not that Stetson Bauta XXVI is starting against UF and Mizzou. Although, with the way Jake has looked the last couple of games, that may improve our chances.

Swift - "if you can't support the team, don't come." Enough said.

Fromm ain’t having LASIK. That’s not even medically possible to have eye surgery and play football 7-10 days later. It’s just what our miserable fanbase has come up with to try to explain/justify the last couple of games. That’s why I said it was a ridiculous rumor along with Tua being back in a week.

I didn’t figure he was, smelvis. Just seemed like a good spot to park the sarcastic hyperbole. Apparently, I used the wrong font.

You know it is entirely possible to be both supportive and critical, right?
